Pakistan-Based Militant: Jihad In Kashmir Cannot Be Postponed Even For A Second

The Chairman of the Pakistan-based network of militant groups Muttahida Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin has said that jihad in Indian-administered Kashmir cannot be postponed even for a second. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Jasarat quoted Salahuddin as saying: ‘‘Jihad has become compulsory on everyone. The jihad continuing in [Indian-administered] Kashmir cannot be postponed even for a second.’’

According to the report, the militant leader said: ‘‘The peace process [between India and Pakistan] cannot be allowed to happen on the blood of Kashmir’s martyrs. The war will continue until Kashmir is liberated [from India].’’ He also asked Pakistan ‘‘to talk to India in the language of power/force.’’

In the image above, Syed Salahuddin addresses a meeting in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, where he made the statement. The meeting was billed as Azm-e-Jihad Conference (Pledge for Jihad Conference).

i am confused i need ur help ppl....:undecided::what:

.
Is he the same guy who said that after kashmir he will fight for and hoist Pakistani flag in Delhi, hyderabad, Junaghad...etc..!

.
Is this guy mad? And what GoP is doing when he is making innocent youth a killing machine.

.
i dont think that this guy is credible i mean the government has completely dismantled these networks and he is not angry at the government at all little strange

.
Indeed, it can't!

There can be no peace.

Many will lose their livelihood!!

.
So what if a guy makes a statement like this. Obiviously he's also enjoying the freedom of speech that everyone else is. Besides Azad kashmir has its own prime minister and government, its there headache to make sure statements like these are not made specially when the on going peace procress is going on.
Having said so, i do aggree with one thing, that there is no solution to kashmir except force. Right now we are not in a position for that, so either we take it or leave it. Its of no use to keep it hanging without any progress and expect it tp get solved with negotiations, india will not get one inch behind their stance and point is why should they specially when they have the control over it and international community is too busy with eliminating islam in the name of terrorism, to do something about it.

I think negotiations are important in this context, you just cannot convert LOC into IB. The devil lies in the detail and ultimately India will have to concede its claim over AK if it does have any as would Pakistan over IK. This will require time as there are forces on both sides , extremist and not willing to accept the reality.

.
I stand for Syed Salahuddin stance for jehad in kashmir. He is atleast standing for long war that kashmiris and Pakistanis have been waging.

Hes got the guts dude!!!!

.
I believe talks with India is just super facial dont have any credibility.

Be careful, these days Australian police is very vigilant about people having aggressing view or support terrorists.

I don't think force is the solution to anything; not here not in Iraq, not in Afghanistan nor did it prove to be a solution in Vietnam. All problems can be resolved by dialogue the only requirement being the will of the parties. As it appears that now will exists on both sides so we may see a solution soon.

your a tad bit too late for that....the israelis did it and it seems to have worked. In my humble view, more spotlight should be put on moderate Islamist leaders who have influence among also non-Muslims (in this case Kashmiri non-Muslim community). The Kashmir issue has a religious dimension to it, but the fact of the matter is that like Palestine --the people of Kashmir want their aspirations to be heard and realized. They have aspirations but have been oppressed for too long by the occupational forces (sissies) given the order to impose their draconian laws on the populace.

the freedom movement waged by the freedom fighters in Kashmir is merely a phenomenon that would be seen anywhere else under similar circumstances....it's in human nature to resist against that which is perceived as occupier.

and clearly, the Kashmiris on an aggregate level --given the huge anti-hindustan sentiment existing --feel this way as well. That is especially the impression one gets when they speak to almost any Kashmiri on either side of the LoC.

Mr. Salahuddin may come off as a fanatic --he would qualify as one. However I don't see any implicit or explicit call for violence or terrorism. ''Jihad'' itself is an often misunderstood term, especially in the west. hindustany may be playing along and inducing paranoia through its failure to fathom this concept.
