This was probably round 1. Round 2 will be all non-Arabic terminology be removed i.e. khudahafiz to namaz, peghamber, khuda etc.

Round 3, All extra alphabets other than Arabic one will be removed.

Lol bro , you are right i got a very serious health scare in dec 2013, now i am fine and have recovered well. Had an oral cancer scare

some say read translated quran, its good enough, some say you need to learn classical arabic to understand real message of Allah..
how do most muslims here know whats written in quran? I always thought they have rudimentary knowledge of arabic which helps them in reading, rest is upto mullahs to tell actual meaning and dos and donts.

The word Mosque (from mosquitoes) has a derogatory meaning and used to describe Muslims by Spaniards when they went to the Masjid!

I think he took this decision by after being inspired from Shree Narendra Modi jee's vision of pure India. He is busy promoting Yoga, reviving the roots of Hinduism and trying to recover the lost glory or forgotten era from the history of India so NS may have thought to learn a lesson or two from modi's policies

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday approved a summary prohibiting the English translation of Islamic terms, which means that the word “masjid” cannot be substituted with the English word “mosque”.

Sacred Arabic names and words like Allah, masjid, sala’at and Rasool are now forbidden to be translated in English as God, mosque, prayer and prophet, respectively, as per the summary approved by the Prime Minister. Religious scholars have appreciated the government’s move and stressed the need to implement the decision.

Prominent cleric Mufti Naeem said that the decision is commendable but it should be enforced in letter and spirit. He lauded the Prime Minister for taking the decision in the holy month of Ramzan.

Mufti Muneebur Rehman also lauded the move, saying some religious terms and names are best described in Arabic and they couldn’t be translated in English.
