Possibly because Pakistani lobby team was not doing their job properly or did not take the issues seriously. Also probably because most of the key players are anti-pakistani and would like to subdue a potential Strong Muslim countries.
The key players have weakend and in some cases destroyed other Muslim countries that were deemed to be strong - Iraq, Libya , Syria etc.....etc...

These countries are trying their best of damaging countries such as Turkey, Eqypt, and Pakistan... .hence the key players will be able to 'rape and plunder' these rich resource countries

Imagine a scenario that China is at USA's position and India is at China's todays position in global order. Both are party to ADB, china being the largest. India has provided loans to many economies and many of those are reeling under debt so they approach ADB for bailout.
Do u think China would sit in a corner while ADB gives money so it can fill India's pocket?

Truth wins in the end. India has tried to sell its lies to the world on the whole episode of Pullwama drama and subsequent confrontation but despite from USA and others, it couldn't sell its shit.

On topic... IK in his election campaign promised that he will not go for any further LOANS... Won... saw the REAL SITUATION of Pakistani economy... went to China, KSA and other Friendly nations... Money parked by these nations in Pakistani banks... Payments/receivables deferred... credit lines extended...

Its curious and downright stupid to go into vapours because the IMF is seeking FINANCIAL LIABILITY INFORMATION regarding all loans. It is not asking to see what Pakistan is buying or how much.
It wants to know what Pakistan has contracted to pay back so it can asses Pakistans ability to bear any new loans and what structural measures it will need to undergo
This is simple prudence that EVERY bank insists on.
No one is asking Pakistan to go to the IMF.
It is Pakistan that has approached and sought a loan from the IMF but wants its liabilities hidden. No bank would countenance that.

the heat from 27 Feb that is not taking a vent enough to release it all, these are the after effects let them cool down and as PM said, he if come back as PM again in India will be more comfortable for negotiations, will come true.
and if he does come back and sits, the same people here will justify this entirely different scenario at the top of their voices. And then reports from Indian media will portray the picture of Musharaf-Vajpayee era.

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar revealed on Monday that the bailout agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) would be $6-8 billion.

Briefing the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs chaired by Faizullah Kamoka, the finance minister said the IMF finalised a bailout package for Pakistan during talks between the two sides at a recent visit by the Pakistani delegation to the United States.

Pakistan would receive funds from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank immediately following the IMF bailout, he said.

Umar said the IMF package would ease off pressure from the country's foreign reserves.

Connecting Military purchase to IMF, is the only art that Indians can do in these times. However, it is an old story and Pakistan did clarify the same with a cold reply. Back then, if I remember correctly, it was said that CPEC is the key in our new relations/purchases & IMF packages are only for Country's economic need. Nothing new in this report.
