Russia will sell Pak civilian Helis, like it sold Pakistan the Mi-17s a while ago. If Pakistan wants more heavy lift Helicopters for disaster relief like the EarthQuake operation in Kashmir, im sure Russia will sell .

But any arms sales are unlikely till India orders jets from the USA.

Hard to say that, because pakistan itself has'nt ask Russia to sell them yet. Perhaps they dont need them any more, on the other side pakistan was willing to purchase 20 "Super-Cobra" helis along with F-16's form US. But now they've already asked for 10 of these, i guess for free. Why not try to get em for free by putting the afghan issue infront.

So first u need to make money and then go for shopping.

Pakistyans ecocnomy is growing abt in moderate levels,its not booming as it should elsewhere,there is not many success stories coming out there.U need to work harder to make up lose ground and gain financially.

No further update on this particular news, I believe we're still negotiating a further batch of AH-1J Cobra and an Elint platform, which could be anything ranging from C-130 based bed to a French Falcon.
