Whataboutism and nothing more - every aspect you mentioned is common to every Pakistani that has power. Your council of Islamic ideology has a drunk in it yet you highlight the problem without realizing the wider aspect of it. The Mullah example is to show you the superiority of honesty and purpose which applies to the military as much to visual outlook of beards and so on.

What you rant on about military has to be solved with cultural shift of needing a moral compass that is non existent. Be it in the military or mullah or otherwise.

Well the US Military does a few more perks. Such as GI Bill which is tuition fee funding after certain years of service -- that is a key driver in getting enlisted personnel to sign up.
VA Medical -- Medical coverage for veterans
And Re-enlistment bonuses

Also, a big chunk transition to Army/Airforce Navy reserve where they serve one weekend a month and keep current while drawing a 50% salary I believe.

But the GI Bill wouldn't really work here, since the concept of enlisting in the miitary in Pakistan vs the US is a bit different I believe.

Wrong again, people who are NOT in the military actually contribute to the GDP, and make the country.

However Military only CONSUMES on the promise of providing security from external threats.

Banks

food grain business
personal security business.

How about first defining the level of service and quality of service ?

Still doing the rounds of “Baray nafees aadmi hain, noorani dharhi hai unki” even though nafees mian is full into hawala system and preaches hate against yahoodi America while living in America and parks like a dick at the mosque blocking everyone else
