On the contrary, lot of Chinese electronics are indeed used in India. For the Quadcopters, DJIs dominate the Indian Civil Market. They are damn fine if I may say so. Ironically, even Huawei equipment is used in lot of infrastructure initiatives that are considered "vital". And paradoxically, Indian Army has forbidden use of Chinese Quadcopters!!!

Logic: Can be hacked by enemy:o:

Man, if our communication (mobile) set up is seen in civil, logic is most cockeyed.

Hence my quip, we do not use DJIs in Indian Army. Not allowed.

And this appears to be a DJI Mavic Pro. I maybe wrong about the model. If it is non-Chinese, then may be ours.

:enjoy:

Probably Gun fire .

Does not appear likely. No damage seen, would have been shearing of the casing at least if gunfire.

The DJI Mavic Pro is battery operated, single charge giving about 27 minutes flying time out to maximum 7 Kms. So, could be that since in cold areas, the battery performance is sub-par, may have fallen off out of poor battery and loss of control.

In November 2016, the army had targeted an Indian quadcopter along the LoC at Agahi Post in Rakhchakri sector. The quadcopter was shot down for violating Pakistan airspace when it entered 60 metres inside Pakistani territory.

It ain't Chinese. That was a #fake nonsense

But on topic, Chinese do make awesome products. I wanted to buy a DJI for myself, but new regulations by DGCA have come in over license.
