Pakistan Army negotiating for Turkish Altay Tanks

What are main guns they are using for this tank?
Altay is equipped with a 120mm L/55 smoothbore gun. It is fitted with a muzzle reference system, a thermal sleeve and fume extractor. The ammunition is stowed in the turret bustle with blow out panels on the roof. The tank also has a 7.62mm machine gun mounted in coaxial to the right of the main armament. A 12.7mm heavy machine gun is mounted on the right of the turret for commander operation.

Even altay was not tested...

Not suitable for Pakistani conditions, we have better option in China and Ukraine.

Fan boy news...baseless

Just make sure the main gun is not German made like the leopard 2A4 because I have some bad reports about that. If the main gun and parts are German made then no need to buy it. If they are totally Turkish made then it is good to go.

It is made in partnership between Turkey and South Korea the tank is good to go.

Lol, Altay is a stalled project. Way late than intially thought.

Even Turkish Army hasn’t gotten any Altays, but Pakistan is negotiating? Bullshit

If news is true then it will be joint venture and will be AK-2 not Atlay for PA.

OPLOT M is better

OPLOT is considered for Al-Haider not AK-2, this may form backbone for future AK-2.

AK-2 will be there but a second platform will also join Pakistan Army.

Atlay may not be considered for Al-Haider because it's components will go in AK-2 and it is more potent and will give more freedom to Pakistan in making AK-2 very potent product.

The person is usualy quite reliable in his claims.
Even Wiki mentions as Pakistan being an interested party.

Sales[edit]
The Altay will compete for the Turkish army contract, estimated at $3.5B for a batch of 250 tanks. Three more similar batches are expected.[42] Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have shown interest in procuring the Altay for their armed forces. In late 2016 it was reported that Pakistan plans to acquire the Altay for its armed forces.[43]
