Pakistan Army Information

. . .
order of importance:

1. front-line troops(500,000)
2. para-militaries (FC, Pakistan Rangers, National Guard, Police etc) (200,000-300,000)
3. reserves (retired personel) (500,000) - last ditch effort.

reserves have never been used in actual battle.

very expensive to maintain active reserves.

Do you have any information about reserves of other nations?

Like, what countries have "active reserves" (by which I assume you mean reserves that are young, and that get military training once every three weeks etc. but aren't "deployed" as standing troops...right?) ?

Pakistani reserves basically are retired military officers and soldiers. Same for India? How about South Korea? Israel?

Do you have any such information?
