We dont need APACHE we just need more 40 - 50 + Super cobra with 30 AH 1Z + Bell 412 . Our Army Aviation will become more powerfull if we will get 80 + Cobra gunships along with 50+ Bells (+ Black hawk or Chinook for troops movement).


Anyone have inside news of Military is that pakistan really interested to buy Super Cobra Gunships ?

If we choose the AH-1Z, we will not induct any AH-1W or earlier updated models. Too much of a maintenance headache.

I say get as many as cobra's we can from the US surplus or new and then go with a another platform ..

gainst indian strelas(manpads) our cobra is nothing....we need advance chopper like ATAK which can evade land launched missiles through tactics and counter measures
