Pakistan army head warns of change in Kashmir status

. .
I understand, but if Pakistan makes a rash decision and does a preemptive attack, there's no telling the repercussions it'll have,

The four rightly guided Khalifas didn't start the wars with the byzatines and the Sassanids, they were steadfast in preventing bloodshed but were forced to defend their people when the two superpowers started harrassing them.

The Great Salah-ud-din didn't aggressively attack the crusader states even though he knew he would have won, he hated Warfare and bloodshed. He was a scholar and wanted to be a darvish, but he waited patiently until the crusaders broke the treaty and killed Innocents, and then he defended the people.

We have to learn from their actions

They didn't live in gigantic mansions enjoying life giving lectures while oppression was being done on Muslims. They were also not afraid of the displeasure of the Kuffar and only cared about the pleasure of Allah.

If you're going to mention the blessed companions(RA) then have some respect and tell the whole truth.

Today, we're seeking the pleasure of Kafirs over Kashmir and Uighurs Muslims while displeasing Allah.

KARACHI, Pakistan

Pakistan's army on Sunday warned that any attempt to challenge the disputed status of Indian-administered Kashmir, including any move towards aggression, will be answered with full military might.

"Kashmir is a disputed territory and any attempt to challenge the disputed status including any political cum military thought related to aggression will be responded with full national resolve and military might," army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa said while addressing troops stationed along the Line of Control (LoC) - a de facto border that divides the disputed Himalayan valley between the two nuclear rivals.

"Disturbing the strategic stability matrix in South Asia can lead to dire consequences," he cautioned, referring to New Delhi's scrapping of the disputed region's decades-long special status last August.

Bajwa, who spent Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, with frontline soldiers at the Kashmir border, lauded their "professionalism, operational preparedness, and befitting response" to alleged violations of a 2003 ceasefire agreement by Indian border force.

"Pakistan Army is observing Eid solemnly in solidarity with Kashmiris under Indian occupation particularly since the Aug. 5 illegal, inhuman lockdown, and ensuing atrocities," he went on to say, according to a statement from the army.

India, he added, is trying to shift global attention away from "worsening humanitarian crisis and violence" in Kashmir to the Line of Control by "targeting innocent civilians."

"Pakistan Army is fully alive to the threat spectrum, and will remain ever ready to perform its part in line with national aspirations," he said.

He said he hoped the international community would weigh in to ensure freedom of movement for UN observers inside Indian-administered Kashmir, as ensured by Pakistan in its controlled part of the valley, "so that the tragic consequences of ongoing atrocities and inhuman clampdown inside occupied territory is reported to the United Nations Security Council and the world at large."

"Indian occupying forces can never suppress the valiant spirit of Kashmiris who rightfully await plebiscite under UN resolution. Regardless of ordeal, their struggle is destined to succeed, InshaAllah [God willing]," he concluded.

Disputed region

Kashmir is held by India and Pakistan in parts but claimed by both in full. A small sliver of the region is also controlled by China.

Since they were partitioned in 1947, the two countries have fought three wars – in 1948, 1965 and 1971 – two of them over Kashmir.

Some Kashmiri groups in Jammu and Kashmir have been fighting against Indian rule for independence, or unification with neighboring Pakistan.

According to several human rights organizations, thousands of people have been killed and tortured in the conflict in the region since 1989.

Allah also helps those who don't cause fitna on this planet, and those who are steadfast and patient. Imma keep it 100 with you bruv. The truth is, there wasn't that much if violence and discord in Kashmir until we started supporting freedom fighters back in the mid 80s.

Let's not deny the truth.

A question for you,

how does the government in New Delhi justify claiming a region where the inhabitants of that said region are aggressively against being part of the state of India, and i'm referring to Gilgit-Baltistan. how do indians justify that?
you don't have a greater claim to that land than the people living in that land.
You are not going to find any significant support for separatism from the Sikhs, Hindus or Buddhists of the J&K region. This makes it clear that the separatist movement in Kashmir is of a religious nature.
As a secular country(at least on paper), we are not going to give up strategic land towards religious claims.
If any Hindu /Muslim /Christian group tried to carve out a separate country from India, they would meet the same violent suppression by the state.

Note - this line of thought was extremely limited in 1947. It is mainstream now.

I'm not ignoring it, but let me ask you this. Have you ever fought for the rights of uighurs who are persecuted by china,
the Sahrawi people who are suppressed and denied basic human rights by Morocco,
the Somaliland people who are brutally massacred by Somalian Military and the Somalian government
the Ishari people who are Shia groups in Saudi Arabia who are routinely arrested, tortured and killed by the wahabi government,
what about Moro people who are muslims of South Philippines who have been fighting for freedom for over 30 years,
what about the Ahwazi Arabs in Iran who have been persecuted and kidnapped, tortured and killed since the time of Shah by the Persian authories
What about the Kurds who have suffered 4x more than Kashmiris have, what about them, are they not worth fighting for?? Have you ever stood up for them??
What about the rohingyas?? They've been suffering since before Pakistan became a country, are they not worth fighting for??? Have you stood up for their freedom???

I can go on and on and one. But i don't have that much free time to educate someone.
Let's not bullshit ourselves and claim we're fighting to protect Kashmiris because they're Muslims. If that was the case then why didn't Pakistan fight the Soviet Union to liberate my people, Ozbeks and Tajiks and the rest of central Asia from Athiest Russia??? What happened to Islamic power then??? Where were you hiding when the Russians raped and murdered and kidnapped my people???
