You have the right to express your views but in my humble opinion Iran is a non-reliable friend as compare to KSA................ however i can see that the Saudi Monarchy is in trouble within couple of years............ Hopefully up-comers will engineering the whole structure of Kingdom and form strategic relations with us.............. Because i can see they are entirely dependable of us in defense related matters

One can assume from this.............. that............. " In that time Pakistan has the defense agreement with US, which is the enemy of Iran so Iran has the right to protect his interest..............."
But one can say that Pak-US defense agreement was in the light of Afghan conflict not any other third country............... But what's the unseen ambitions of Iran to sign this pact............ is Iran want a conflict with Pakistan or China.............. Because India has these two most important enemies ............

Iran is NOT an honest reliable friend or ally of Pakistan. Iran is looking after its own interests such as leasing Chabar port to India. In return this will help boost Irans economy. It is in Pakistan's best interest to maintain a balanced relationship with Iran as Iran is an immediate neighbour. As Pakistan is fencing the border with AFG, Pak should also attempt to secure the wild frontier with Iran. Yes it will be time consuming with the requirement of huge resources man power and costly but having unmanned open border with Iran is inviting more terrorist attacks from RAW operatives such as Kalboshan Jadev.
