Since the beginning of 2023, two AH-1F Cobras are mounted outside the Pak Army Museum in Rawalpindi.
Unfortunately, both wear the same fictitious serial number "786-404", but they look cool anyway 8-)

The snake was initially procured to kill T-72s but its three-barreled M197 20 mm cannon proved its worth against terrorists with usual help from Hydras and TOWs.

Also obsolete and most well past their useful airframe life… its a testament to their maintenance crews that they get airborne at all. The Jordanian ones have a bit more life in them.

The specific aircraft is equipped with high-frequency jammers and can also be used as an Airborne Command Post (ACP).

Does anyone know what happened to the Zulu Cobras? I know it all got cancelled, but did they find the airframes other users, did we get any funds back that we paid?
