I hope in the not so distant future we will see Mi-35's and later the T-129. Whether it's floods, earthquakes, utility needs, combat or troop transportation, I think PAA pilots and maintenance crews deserve a lot. Hats off to Alan Warnes also.

US is replacing its OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. Maybe a good option for us.

1.as far as Attack helicopter are concerned to replace Cobras this Article state that Pakistan is currently looking towards
T129, AH 64 D, EC tiger and AH1Z viper

2. It also state that Pakistan nearly signed a deal of a squadron of mi 35 10 years ago but due to India deal was not materialize..

3. Pakistani Fennec and Ecruil can go upto 23000 Feet

PUMA & Cobras are very old. At lease Cobras needs to be replaced asap either by WZ10 or MI 28.

AW got the cost of the AH-1Z wrong. its 40m and not 80m per example. in 2010 US500m was proposed by the US under FMS for the purchase of 12 AH-1Z's to be delivered in 2014 but PK missed the boat.

As per various sources AH1Z cost is 31 M USD ...but for selling price you are right with package it can be 40 M USD
