Pakistan Squad announced for ACC T20 Asia Cup and ICC World T20 2016


Lahore February 10, 2016: Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan has approved the 15 member squad at the recommendation of National Selection Committee headed by Mr. Haroon Rashid for the upcoming ACC T20 Asia Cup 2016 and ICC World T20 2016:

“While picking the squad, the team management and skipper were consulted by the selectors, and all concerned gave their consent in this regard.

“The T20 team has been selected keeping in mind the conditions during Asia cup and World T20 and the recent performances of some players in domestic and A Team tours. The team is a fine blend of experience and youth and the selectors believe that team will do well in both tournaments”, said chief selector Haroon Rashid

When you have people like NS running the country like an enterprise and people like Shehyar and Najam Sethi running PCB, you cant hope for anything else even if a player gets killed.

Best squad under the circumstances, Gul would be better in place of Irfan. Manzoor is a surprise inclusion. Not a bad squad. I am expecting Amir to perform.

Babar Azam?? when did he performed?

He has been the most consistent in recent times, deserving of number 4 spot in all formats. Have you seen his record in domestic cricket? he should play as an opener in T20 cricket. He deserves it more than Rizwan or Shehzad.

I dont like getting into childish arguments but stupidity needs to be given befiting reply once in a while.

Ask that copy paste poster to not to throw baseless allegation every now and then as we both have enough literature against each other to generalize.( u kniw what i mean )

He will be the one whoes performance would watched out against india and other nations.. If Pakistan has to do well, its him and wahab riyaz.. To be honest, hardly seen any excellent bowling performance world wide in recent days since we had seen the wahab bowl against Aussies..

PCB announce the squad 2 days after the deadline which was 8 feb. This squad also for asia cup which will be held in bengladesh but decision to play in india will depend on govt approval.
