My remark can be regarded as a metaphor whereby any bad news concerning Pakistan is viewed as **** by Indians, such is their fixation about Pakistan’s demise.

You love to hear things like this, you get a high on it, your pupils dilate and you begin to sweat whilst your loins swell as if you have just seen a naked woman.

So you saying that Indian get turned on by bad about Pakistan?


Just for the record this study was done in US.

They can say whatever they want, but if you look at the list then Pakistan doesn't belong with some of the other countries next to it on the list. I mean Pakistan is like next to Afghanistan on the list. Give me a break! I think the image of Pakistan is pretty bad right now but it will change after a year or so, when we have good news on the FATA war.

Yes, i agree, that's how the methology used by them works, they are going by statistics and not just image, for example, it is a fact that more new IDP were created in Pakistan lately than Afghanistan, but that will change too. Why are some members getting all worked up and abusing Indians for a study conducted in the west? Even if we assume we love to hear bad news about Pakistan, the news still remains and hence deserves to be posted here.

Please try to understand, bad news in Pakistan affects us too, i'd love to see another Mumbai not happening.

Yes the IDPs and war in tribal regions has probably led to this ranking. I imagine that now that Swat has been cleared and people will go back there, the ranking will be much better? Plus by next year we should have a clear picture on the Waziristan battle. I am hopeful that things will get better and Pak is much better than the other countries in that top 10 list.

You are right, that was not called for. Based on the short time I have been on this forum, I would say that I haven't seen any bias from the mods. I think they are doing a good job

Why even give any importance and attention to these motivated and baseless indexes - Failed state index, corruption index and what not.


Are we still lacking the simple understanding that these indexes are propaganda tools for hegemonic agenda and drives business away.

One simple example would be how corruption index is cooked up. We have all see how corruption rampant in western economy enen their govt is directly deceiving people with false data. But corruption index does not takes these cases. They are busy counting penny changes that goes as graft. If they do take account of real financial corruptions taken and taking place, US would be most corrupt country followed by UK.

We just should ignore these index farce and western side kicks who promotes it here.
