What's new

Pakistan allows entry of Afghan trucks to India despite tensions

What is Afghanistan exporting to India? and this is BS

. .
first we allowed modis plane to flyover our territory and now this there is an agreement in place btw both countries and kashmir issue looks solved

.
sometimes I feel, we really look like cowards when try these "goodwill" gestures.

It always has been taken for granted.

if you cant block the access atleast increase the duties to 10x the amount on each truck. that'll give something back to our economy

. .
In another unrelated news Afghanistan has gone to UNSC against Pakistan for shelling its border areas.

. . .
Their should be a ban on trucks , all goods should be transported from Afghan truck to Pakistani Train , and carried over to Lahore via Train only

  • Afghanistan should pay Transit fees
  • This is a standard policy world wide no one allows trucks from another nation to enter it's border openly
Canada-USA-Mexico have free trade agreement , we don't have any such ties with India
Pakistan needs to maximize our national interest

Trucks flow on highways , damage roads and highways who pays for it's repair? Pakistani people because our tax payers have to pay for it .

Transit fees should be paid so we can invest in our railways

  • Are Pakistani Trucks allowed to Enter India to travel to Bangladesh ?

.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan and other Pakistani officials agreed during meetings that Afghan trucks would be allowed to cross the Wagah-Attari border and delivered goods in India. Similarly Pakistan will be connected with Central Asia via Afghanistan,”

That means no Indian trucks allowed to Afghanistan via Pakistan.
I hope your interpretation is correct. I have found ministerial statements to be confusing and contradictory.

. .
We need the Afghan Trucks to disembark all the goods on Trains and the goods need to be vetted thru Xrays and other security to ensure no restricted goods are travelling thru Pakistan masked as Afghan goods going thru to india it is a massive security risk
