The concept of fencing rugged Himalayan Mountain range with foothills containing some of the secondary tallest most rugged mountains in the world is insulting insane.
Pakistan is bankrupt and has been in that condition for many, many years. India makes money and is a working democracy with excellenet free enterprise ethic.
Northern Pakistan territories and tribal areas are about as backward as it gets except for Afghanistan which is equally backward.
But basic security stability is being conceptualized for the mutual benefit of Pakistan, Afghanistan, the US, and believe it nor not, Iran, too. Iran has suffered deaths and mayhem from the Sunni Pahktuns who are members of the Taliban and al Qaida groups.
Backward thinking ISI senior officers and some politicians inside Pakistan who have never stopped playing footsie with the terrorists have an amazingly stupid idea to try for the umptenth time to create a ruckus inside Kashmir.
What is finally missing is that the Kashmiris don't give a toot about Pakistan, India, nor China, but can be worked with using the Andorran Model. ***Read today's posting by Musharraf as to the progress he and Singh made on a resolution for Kashmir, with IS the Andorran Model in case anyone has not yet understood that fact.
Pakistan and the US have coordinated wild tribal areas strikes and will continue to do so. Pakistan asked for and got some drones of it's own from the US and is using them. Remember that these backward tribal areas are basically a no man's land and have never recognized being part of Pakistan. So who says fighting can't cross into a non-Paksitani controlled, insecure region which Pakistan can never control based on recent and current mixed signal pro-anti-pro terrorists allegiances and alliances now horribly out of date vis-a-vie India and Kashmir.
It is time for the world to say to Pakistan and India that what was formerly being done by Musharraf and Singh was correct and it needs to be resumed, even though it will take many, many years to get the LOC to melt into routine boundaires of a state of Kashmir with a single Kashmiri capital but international and national defense matters still run and handled by Pakistan, India, and China.
