‘Pakistan Airways’ registered

KARACHI: A new organisation, Pakistan Airways, has been registered as a ‘premium service subsidiary’ of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

This was announced by a spokesman for the national flag carrier in a statement on Saturday.

He said the step would improve the service and image of the airline.

Musharraf stop pumping the money, due to heavy union and political parties role in PIA. But, later he release the funds. Mushi had plan to revitalize PIA, but bureaucracy and unions always play dirty role.Having two national airline is not bad idea. India has two. It will bring healthy competition. May be its baby steps to dissolve PIA. Govt will never sit silent.
Golden shake hand was good approach, but a nation who been corrupt for ages, is not ready to leave there hefty perks.
Anyway, you made good attempt , but these graphs give you some number. Doen't explain ground realities.

Because, MOD is now involve . PIA is backbone of Pakistan defense. These plane transport Pak army soldiers in need or per demand by UN. Pak army don't transport there soldier and equipment in any foreign carrier. Its question of cost and security. Heard PIA already disengage from MOD by present govt.

History remember facts not fiction ,Mushi was in full control and there was no one dare to question him during 1999 to 2007. Fact is Mushi started PIA losses ,Zardari and tolla make sure Indus air flies .Now PIA is starting to take off with lower losses in last 10 years i dont know what else people wants .Specially two airlines is not a good idea since we are a small country ,One air line has to go
