We should pressurize current Afghan government to accept Durand Laine as International border and fence it.If they do not agree we should even then should fence the border.In this way we can stop inflintrators from Afghanistan and inflinterators from our side too.
Bombing them will creat breaches in our ties,and if we can accomodate breaches then why not for a everlasting and useful reason i-e fence.

If true, this situation has to be immediately addressed with administration in Kabul, and the Karzai Government must take responsibility for this. ANA soldiers, God knows what they were thinking...People in border areas have to abide by border laws and accept Durand line.

Although ANA is recruiting common Afghan but the officer consist of NA. And if they think they'll do whatever they want just because US is supporting them they are signing for another long war for the region and more instability.

A lot of people keep suggesting that Afghanistan should accept the Durand line --- Why are Pakistanis so keen on the Durand line when the Afghans simply do not want to accept it -- The Afghans want the border to be the Indus --- But what is the Pakistani position, a serious Pakistani position?

How can Pakistan influence the the peoples and the politics of the area of the entire Kunar and Nuristan, Nanganhar, Laghman and Logar, Paktia, Paktika and Khost, for the first phase, to bring about a realization that a better border between Pakistan and Afghanistan would see the border move de facto to the West, in some areas by as little as a 100 kilometers and as much as 800 km in other places.

What would Pakistan have to do to begin exploring the creation of such a realization? For starters it would have to seriously control the present border, it would have to create more provinces from the KP, FATA and PAT And Balouchistan provinces AND develop these areas with government services, such as exclusive law and order (no shariah here and civil law there, no hodge podge) and mandatory education and full rights of citizenship, yes that means full rights for women.

A educated, prosperous and JUST Pakistan is a stronger Pakistan, a Pakistan other want to be a part of -- if you will be in these areas, you will realize that Pakistan has been negligent - in some areas up to 90 percent of the population have been born in, lived in or presently maintain some sort of seasonal migration into Pakistan - And Pakistan can and should do better for these people.

As to these invaders, the Pakistan armed forces failed and have encouraged these invading forces, by allowing them to escape.

The timing of this attack does raise some eyebrows.. Just in the past day or so Defence Minister requested Chinese assistance to build a Naval Port @ Gwadar.

We need more educated and well-informed people in Pakistan. People who will look at creation of more provinces as steps towards better administration and not as the break-up of vote banks.
End the dynastic approach in political-parties and we may yet see better individuals getting tickets.
We have to start somewhere.
