Pakistan Acknowledges Sea-Based Nuclear Deterrent

A pakistani made Nuclear Submarine is in the making and will be able to fire MRBMs, missiles and torpedos.

Are you speculating? If not please explain how you've come to know this.

.
The Command is at its current state nothing more than a "shelf" organization.
It has NO assets other than the officers assigned to it and the building.
The assets are in the pipeline, but nothing exists YET.

Agosta 90B has no VLS, just torpedo tubes (533mm)

You're probably right, but i was confused by these 10 cells on top of the sub:

Its just speculations and dreams that we might be having something like that in near future. But who knows we might be having something to surprise everybody.....:smokin:

Can we be guided by the history of how Pakistan have reacted to defense developments related to India? If yes, then we can say with some confidence that a nuclear second strike capability by India will be responded to with similar developments.

So this means that we can't use Agosta 90B's torpedo tubes to fire BABUR cruise missile? cuz they too small for it...:what:

I'm assuming Babur is 533mm compatible. Tomahawk can be fired from 533mm torpedo tubes. So, if you''re developing a cruise missile and have the intention of launching it from subs, you had better make it compatible with either 533mm (which is common, both to the West/Nato and East/ex-WP) or 650mm (which is also used/produced by Russia). It is rumored Israeli Dolphin subs have a pair of 650mm tubes in addition to 406 533 tubes. So, you see mixes in other countries than just Russia. But whether this applies to Pakistan?

Interesting, but can't tell what sub this is and it may also be Mesma related (how do you know those are VLUs).

. . .
u guys u can talk how much u want but thats a truth they alrdy tested it when army is 100 % sure that this thing is working fine and its u must give some reply to enemy then they show their badass weapons AND babur is 1 of that indian showed they got nuclear sub lol pak navy said no worries here is our reply =))) and army`s past had shown that

submarine launched cruise missile?
Pakistan has small sized subs and Ballistic missiles cant fit in there so yes they may be modifying their subs for smaller cruise missiles.

Pakistan is reportedly getting 6 Qing class sub which have the capability to launch CJ-10K missile at range of 1500 KM.

That's the PNS Hamza. Imran Khan (member here) posted this pic in this thread: http://www.defence.pk/forums/milita...force-reckon-board-their-ships-submarine.html

He claimed the cells may be SM 39 Exocet launchers.

I doubt that. SM-39 like Harpoon uses encapsulated missile launched from torpedo tubes. These so called vertical launch tubes are where the propulsion systems are aboard Agosta 90B (which, in the case of PN, includes MESMA-AIP)

Submarine construction is like a Jigsaw puzzle, if you dont have Blue Prints then untill you have expertise like Germany/US forget Packing it Back.

Also, you mess with Centre of Gravity, Gravitational Torque could sink your Submarine.
