PAKISTAN: A LOOMING COUP D'ETAT

The Army does not want to stage a coup, there is no reason or need for it. The army is fully supportive of Imran Khan and want him to succeed and for democracy to work.

Now if Imran Khan fails to deliver or some sort of major crisis happens that cripples the government or its inability to act then all bets are off. One thing is guaranteed, the army will not allow the like of NS or Zardari to return to power. With that said, all support is behind Imran to clean house. The next step is constitutional amendments to undo certain aspects of the 18th amendment and restoring certain presidential powers (checks and balances). Dont be surprised if we move to a presidential system, which is what Pakistan needs. This of course cannot be accomplished during the tenure of this parliament as IK does not have 2/3 majority. Expect something like the Turkish model and a strong majority for the pti next election to accomplish this if all goes according to plan.

Yes how would i know its not like i have experience of running a campaign for UC chairman who later became MNA
Yes i am the one who saw pti leading the number game in byelections i saw how pmln touts drops pamphlets at houses like criminals instead of actually campaigning for votes
I saw how despite such a narrow margin of government in Assembly opposition has failed time and time again in mobilizing a mass movement against the government

There was no saajish from army to get pti in and the present government is pretty stable if you look at what lies ahead
All they need to do is endure and they can get the next term as for bad choices people are willing to wait for an year as see what this government really wants
So far their big time actions have been popular among the masses

Here is something what I can tell you about the main article. In my knowledge there are no chances of any coup in Pakistan. Why this article has been posted? Well every one is trying to reach some goal and everyone has loyalty some where in some corner attached to some particular school of thought. Currently the supporters of PTI are very loyal to Pakistan army and will hear a word against their armed forces and defend them with their arguments. The purpose of such articles is to create in security among them so that there is some opening in them to bash Pakistan Army in the future.

For example if tomorrow there is a rift between PTI and army who will you stand with? This article highlights that ideas to create a divide and make people open to their next propaganda. This article is balanced and aimed at creating a perception. The goal is to influence people either against Imran Khan or army by creating a threat which is not there. This is the same thing which was used to fuel hate against Soviet union among US public and get public support for funding US global domination ambitions. When ever you hear a news it ends with this has happened any thing that follows is an attempt to make your perception in a certain direction. So start living in present and think about your future unaided of third opinion. Do what you feel is best for you and your country. Don't rely on people to give you a direction.

Okay here is a simple question. Why is it wrong to defend PTI? Those politicians are humans and humans make mistakes and people defend those who they are close to this is normal human behaviour. In politics every one is evil to some extent because every one supports one idea and is opposed by an other so he will always be evil for the other school of thought. We have election to decide this difference and majority is authority under democracy so supporters of PTI have every right to defend their govt even of they are wrong in your thinking.
