Pak will not compromise itself to make peace with India: Sartaj

It is Pakistan that expects for a dialogue without taking cognizance of India's concern. What happened to Mumbai trails? It happened almost 10 years ago. What happened to Gurudaspur, Uri, Patankot, Nagrota etc...? The only country unreasonable here is Pakistan.

Did your govt provided substantial evidence i dont think so so stop firing in the air come out from dreams

grow up at get out of blame game get yourself in to real world .Kashmir is Disputed so No further talks unless kashmir comes 1st

Talks with Pakistan is unreasonable. It makes no sense at all.
When the relation was going to slowly relaxing, Pathankot was happen.
Obviously Pak Army is not interested in peace talks.
there is no Indian hegemony, China is the biggest player in the region.

The guy is saying they will not compromise and they want dialogue with India. What is the use of dialogue then?
They are expecting India should compromise and give them what they dream and demand, with out any legal basis.

This is not me saying. There lot human right groups that have released the reports
I have been reading your discussion since the day i joined this forum, but now i have concluded that its useless to read your comments because most of time you disappointed me with your baseless self claimed BS:sarcastic: No offence.:secret:

India is irrelevant, this is the message for upcoming American administration and America in general, the cheif sponsor of India.

what idiocy is this. You say India is irrelevant and in the same sentence say you are messaging America because they 'sponsor' India. make up your mind and come back when you know what you want to say.

Son, don't act smart. We know it's American shoulder which India has been using to fire it's guns against Pakistan. Read Sartaj statement again, Pakistan will not tolerate India to become regional hegemon. This is what America has always wanted. This is the message to yanks to back off.

beti, you should have understood that before writing that nonsense about irrelevance. go dunk it

our courts did not find your evidence valid for trail . we can not hang them just because you guys said it . its rule of law .
How you investigation and how you present the case decides the case. Court can do nothing if police has no interest in proving. You are struggling to prosecute your own terrorist and your army have to jump in. Those terrorist were found not guilty by same courts.

  • We will not have a dialogue if there is no discussion on Kashmir, Sartaj said

Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that India’s attitude of no-dialogue policy is unreasonable, and that “Pakistan will not compromise itself to establish peace with India”.

Indian Prime Minister Modi wanted to make India a “hegemonic power” in South Asia and his entire election campaign revolved around “anti-Pakistan sentiment”, Aziz said while talking to a private news channel on Sunday.

He accused India of hampering the efforts Pakistan had put forth for holding a dialogue to establish peace between the two countries, saying Modi “does not want to discuss the Kashmir issue except for examining the terrorism there”.

Aziz said that India tried to divert the focus on problems at the Line of Control and pushed the “terrorism rhetoric” when the Hizbul Mujahideen leader Burhan Wani was murdered.

“We will not have a dialogue [with India] if there is no discussion on Kashmir. Aziz hoped that once the provincial elections in India are over, “its attitude toward holding dialogue with Pakistan will change”.

When asked about India’s involvement in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, he said that any state can participate as a “sub-contractor” to improve the infrastructure being built under the project.

China and Pakistan have “mutually agreed” to review all such requests on a “case-by-case basis”, Aziz added.

On improving relationship with Afghanistan, Sartaj said that when Ashraf Ghani was elected as president, “he expected Pakistan to bring the Taliban to the table though we did not have that much of an influence”.

“But somehow, six months later, we were able to arrange a meeting between Taliban and the Afghan government,” Aziz said, adding that after the first meeting a second one was scheduled the same month, on July 31, 2015.

“However, the elements that didn’t want this dialogue process to proceed announced the death of Mullah Omar, thus sabotaging the effort,” he said.

“Then Mullah Mansoor had to establish himself after his predecessor so the dialogue was further delayed,” Aziz said, adding that there was some progress made with the group after Mansoor but all that effort was rendered useless when the United States killed him in a drone strike.

“The fundamental issue here is that there is no consensus in Afghanistan, they themselves are not clear whether they should fight the Afghan Taliban or hold dialogue with them,” the foreign affairs adviser maintained.

“The same applies to the Taliban; some groups want to fight while others want to talk it out,” Aziz added.

“The insurgency in Afghanistan can only be eliminated if the Afghan government takes charge of the prevailing situation in the country,” Aziz said, refuting the “perception” about Pakistan’s alleged involvement in causing the unrest there.

Status quo is what we want. Nobody can give piece of land because some terrorist attack. Its not that easy. Keep sending terrorist. This policy is driven without logic but just on emotion. Any way should have a strategy to achieve its goal. There is no strategy, just send terrorist and hope that will put pressure to give away Kashmir. It will not work. Keep doing. There is only 4 district in Kashmir which has problem.

Q- What does India stand to gain by talking to Pakistan?

A -Nothing

Hundreds like Mr. Aziz spent a lifetime trying to extract something from India. All failed miserably.

Now this octogenarian will also be going to his grave without having achieved anything.

No talks no further aman ka tamasha! Why?
A. Kashmir solution = Independence
B. Hand over Mulla Radio and other under your protection.
C. Stop funding terrorism in Pakistan.

A brave enemy much better than a stupid friend
Now leave us alone and concentrate on your sxit.

I wonder those asking about Mumbai attacks trails n pathankot etc actually forgot about samjhota express or Gujarat riots .. Anyways leaving it at a side if it's about enough evidences then why our Indian friends forget about evidences which our govt provided of india's involvement in Baluchistan ?
Now on dialogues etc I wish both the countries and the masses out there could actually feel the pain of the one's who faced world wars so that they know how important are dialogues n peace for humanity

Pakistani limits of compromise are quite vague... we can tolerate anything to everything and still have the audacity to point at limits !
If there were any limits... than those were crossed by miles when APS happened.
That was the moment in history, when whole nation including its rulers proved they are baygahirat #1
Whole world noticed it, and they suerly have re-adjusted there markers of Pakistani limits.
So Mr. Sartaj Aziz your limits are quite infinite and i'm sure no one can cross those.

Pakistani present govt failed on two spots. No foreign minister and No foreign policy. Running country like day to day kitchen cabinet .

India negotiate like buying things in the market. They will always try to get more and more and more. Pakistan will face endless demands. I hope Pakistan says no to the pathetic Indian tactic. The very first time.
