This is unfortunately the very real cost of failing to control the escalating attacks in KPK and Balochistan. Regardless of reality, even the perception of increased danger will cause tourists & investment to flee. International sports is no different. This is why its so important for the pacifists at the helm to get a kick up the backside and start taking these attacks seriously.

Cricket is a rubbish sport anyway. Also, given that it's highly politicised and not popular at all outside of the subcontinent, it's very easy for India to control with $. No country controls football like England, Aus and India do for cricket. Pakistan can easily compete in Asian football with a bit more investment. Time to join the rest of the world in football.
