May be because Pakistan have mostly played in UAE conditions, but i have long observed that the fast bowlers(including Amir) no longer swing the new ball, something that the commentators in Star Sports are stressing on right now. Wasim has repeatedly told him to get more side on and closer to the stumps to no avail. Not limited to Pakistan only, better bowlers like Bumrah, Rabada, Archer, Cummins, Ferguson etc belong to the same bracket. Cricket is boring without the new ball swinging around!

depends upon the pitch. amir swung the ball massively in previous match against SA but not much in this match. this pitch is more like sub continent pitch .more supportive to spinners but so far pak pacers are doing the damage.

Amir is also bowling beautifully. He can control the line, length and speed of his bowling. And since this pitch is faciliating spinnig, I noticed Amir's ball turn towards wickets to dismiss Martil Guptil at Yorker length.

Ufff....Amir's ball turned towards wickets because it hit something called a cricket bat. Shaheen Afridi is not a spinner. Bhai hukka kidhar laga liya.

Don't you see the plan? With spin they give Williamson a single so the "less good" batsman gets on strike and they strangle him for runs. Look at their strike rates.
