So as the latest developments are about Taliban scaling down military operations to enagage with US on table .

1)A question rises that would the US completely leave Afghanistan ? And would it be Good for Pakistan . What if some crack job from the armed groups in Afghanistan again do something like 9/11 on US soil or any other country dear to US . What would be the outcome for Pakistan ? .

2) Secondly if the US doesn't leave. Definitely US will provide an umbrella to Indian proxies in Afghanistan and try to destabilise and denuclearise Pakistan .

What choice does it leaves Pakistan .

Would like members to shed some knowledge .

Whatever the outcome, Pak has to always remain vigilant. We have many challanges apart from Afghanistan. The biggest challenge is cockroach Hindustan.

Apart from that, peace with the Taliban looks like a very credible outcome.

.
this should be the last opportunity for peace talks and I think that is how it is. either something happens now otherwise there will not be another peace talk. If such is the case then I can bet everything dear to me iran will help talib against yanks in afghanistan.

Then don't blame Pakistan.

If the yanks could do anything they would have done it by now. The same people who for years said 'do more' are now coveting Pak and seeking an 'honourable' exit.

Yeah but what after the exit ? What then ?

I fear that a post exit scenario will resemble the situation of the 90s (Pressler Amendment/Sanctions e.t.c). The US sees B&R as a threat and instead of nukes they will come with a new argument against Pakistan

U.S.A will never leave Afghanistan completely. They have foot print near china. Destroying Afghanistan is not difficult for U.S.A but they have other greater ambitions. U.S.A will be happy to expand its influence.

Pakistan and the United States of America have friendly ties historically.

Both countries pose each other no existential threat. Abraham Lincoln is greatly admired in Pakistan in political sphere and intellectual sphere.

The relations between the people are on the basis of Free People and Free Muslims. Abraham freed his people just like Jinnah freed his people, the Pakistanis.

Pakistan has produced a working model for everyone caught up in global trade war by bridging the gap between the two factions.

As we enter another decade there is hope that it may end up less turbulent than its predecessor

For a change, this episode will be in favor of Pak for the US policymakers are now on a defensive role. They know it too well losing Pak, Afganistan etc. is no option.....

Pakistan has made it clear to the US that they can't pull any baby mama drama and just leave.
They need to keep a presence there, especially financially to keep Afghanistan stable.

With US funding and local support, Afghanistan can be on its way to being a normalish country.
