With the in Military having influence over our Foreign Policy,I dont think this deal can ever be inked.Especially in a nation in which we see our nukes as a pride,I dont see this deal happening.

I actually wanted a nuke deal with US. But the purpose of this deal is to curtail or weaken our nuke program. US has signed a nuke deal with India though without even half the safeguards they are offering Pakistan. A nation of traitors is what America is.

My point is whilst we want the government and our leaders to be men of correct action, we cannot wait for them. The people must start making their own organized efforts.

These are called foreign affairs and the general public does not have such insight to organize and have a say in these kinda affairs.And to be fair with u these matters should only be handled at the upper govt level.

A moot point now India has SSBNs with SBLMs and an entirely independent second strike capability.

India will shortly hold a large military exercise along Pakistan’s borders to confirm the validity of this doctrine. Rather than discourage such Indian military provocations, Washington again demands that Pakistan disavow its defensive response.

The US would never make such ridiculous demands because they know they would get a strong rebuke from India.



Aside from these points it is sad that Pakistan's entire foreign policy seems to be India-centric. Almost every paragraph of this op-ed was entered around India and its actions or its ties with the US.

The Yanks are crazy folks. They ain't getting any deal on our nukes. They can keep their nuke tech to themselves. Pakistan has only one nuclear supplier and that is China. Yanks will be burning forever as far as Pak nukes are concerned.

IMO i feel Nawaz's trip is more or less a litmus test to see how the Americans behave, and then accordingly Raheel Sharif will respond. The army has cushioned him brilliantly, first ISI chief visit and then after his meeting the COAS will visit. So lets see the reaction of Obama.

I think we Pakistanis are going way critical regarding that Nuke deal. No way in the world, we will see compromise in Pakistan's nuclear strike capability for some American proposals. No one here in Pakistan is that fool to accept it be it Nawaz or any politician and really they are not in a position to make that call either.US firmly knows this fact as well though the media trolls will keep speculating.
