Pak took ‘tremendous advantage’ of US for years: Donald Trump

The best stories are those that both sides can spin to their internal audiences for mutual benefit. As I said before, this is a good thing.
yup, each one spins up their own story to suit there interests. But on the political side I dont think there are any real changes on the ground as of now. Need to wait for some more time.

hostage is wounded... he himself is going to Canada... I am sure he will talk to media soon and provide with shootout details... like he told to his father (and has been quotted)
This is the statement from their news agency. Until the things clear out we will not know whether it was a staged or real one. Possibly some time down the road we might know the truth.

This particular tango will be a long and drawn out process, each side maneuvering for the best advantage, as should be expected.

he was hit by a shrapnel in leg... not life threatening injury... he told his father on telephone... his father told the news agency

Yes, I think this sizing up the other side will continue for some time to find out the limits the other side can be stretched to.

It is going to be a long and tedious Trump presidency, for both Americans and Pakistanis. Long. Tedious. Looooooooong. And this is just the start. :(

Dude you have it wrong.

Trump is good for America.

Pakistan respects America again.

All is well.

Lol

The art of diplomacy, nothing else. As always. :D

What i don't get is if they knew where they were in Afghanistan, then how come they didn't rescue them in Afghanistan where they have their own troops, why wait till they cross the border into Pakistan and then ask Pakistani forces to go and rescue them.

Also i can't seem to understand how they were able to make babies while in captivity, what kinda captivity was this?

Trump know how to extract thing. No wonder he was a successful business man.

blainyyyyy welcome back.
well Trump's statement is not that bad. just one operation changed his mind which has sent shockwaves across india.

Why will it be bad for India? India will be more than happy if Pakistan does what ever US asks it to do. This will solve lot of India's problems too.

.
I just love the way they are trying to spin the news of the rescue into a triumphant speech that still makes them the good guys in all of this.

Problem with trump is he says it first then his minions have to do damage control.

The major problem for America is that anything exitting Trump’s mouth becomes abnormal and not believable by default.

Who would say no to advancing damsel in distress? We are not like Joseph.

.
He's trying to take credit for something he had nothing to do with.

Now is an opportune time to make the US administration look foolish, and all Pakistan has to do is call them out on their own incompetence. I know why the ISPR has kept quiet, but I honestly think it's now or never.
