Islamabad: Pakistani Taliban on Monday asked Myanmar's beleaguered Rohingya Muslim minority to wage a jihad against military-backed junta and offered them resources and training facilities to help them "take up the sword".

Ehsanullah Ehsan, spokesman for the hardline Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), said they "shared the grief" of the persecuted Rohingya Muslims fleeing Myanmar.

"I address Burma's youth: take up the sword and kill in the path of God. No doubt, God is with us," Ehsan said in a message sent to media.

He also offered to help Rohingya Muslims through the resources and training.

"Our (training) centres, our resources, training, people, everything is available to provide comfort to you," he said.

Myanmar refuses to recognise the majority of its 1.3 million Rohingya as citizens and places a raft of restrictions on them, such as family size, movements and access to jobs.

The Taliban militants came out in support of Rohingyas despite the fact that the militants are on the run in Pakistan due to military offensive.

The Rohingya issue is being flagged in Pakistan and right-wing Jamaat-i-Islami held a protest yesterday over their plight, while opposition leader Imran Khan wrote to the UN Secretary General last week to address their issues.

God is with us khwarjis which is why we kill children, believe in the oppression of women and have been hunted to extinction.

"Our (training) centres, our resources, training, people, everything is available to provide comfort to you,"

Correction: Our terror camps were available for your comfort and we would have promised not to whip your women, use them as shields and kill your children but unfortunately we've lost it all to the Pak Fauj. Nonetheless I'm going to make this desperate and hollow announcement in the hope that I can win over a handful of Pakistani mullahs so that I can stay relevant for a little while longer.

All the muslim countries should take few thousand displaced people and rehabilitate them, that way they can be rehabilitate and shorten their sufferings.

Its just a rhetoric by the TTP who wants to gain some public support through their such statements. TTP has itself shown how weak it has gone now as previously used term WE WILL has been replaced by THEY SHOULD. Offering training and resources mean they want them in as their own foot soldiers which implies as another sign of weakening.

. .
Now who will be held responsible if the victims take weapons in their hands?

. .
Says the asshole who got kicked out from his own country. Lol
