Pak Punjab's south belt breeding ground for militants: Sharif

these brothers are saying and doing everything which hurts Pakistan and please our enemies.

.
How do these terrorists communicate? Cant Pakistan police listen to they phone calls? or check their fb status? (lol joke)

.
Dont you think long term out of control state policy has it contribution also....

Off course it has.. but not this hydra is self sustaining..
and has turned on its creator as well..and everything and everyone(including India) that oppose it.
If it would just destroy and kill Pakistanis the world would not care worse for it.. but this monster is not going to limit itself here.
it will spare no effort to infiltrate the rank and file of Muslims in India and breed trouble in that community.. it is already spreading to Bangladesh..

The Punjab government faced criticism after provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah was photographed travelling with extremist leaders during the campaign for a bye-election.
Wow! :woot: This sucks!

If they were this bright..
there is a massive difference in the capabilities of various law enforcement agencies in Pakistan..
Those close to the capital and defending our dear leaders wield M-4's,Kevlar and advanced electronic interception..
Hafiz Saeed's own private guards carry M-4's.. Bullet proof vests and Cb radios..!
and the police(and government) are afraid of engaging them in fear of a firefight for he usually travels with a truckload of "jihadis"
Those present in such downtrodden areas are lucky to get a uniform and a lee-enfield.

Moreover, due to the religious base of this extremism.. it becomes harder to ascertain whether the communication was of just mundane religious nature or a more devious one...

Poverty has nothing to do with extremism or terrorism.
Poverty and ignorance does provide steady supply of foot soldiers, they are not masterminds, but they are the ones who are more likely to blow themselves up when told by the smart guys.

. . .
Ok, how many people is he supposedly working for.. isnt that moonlighting..and illegal??
Nothing wrong with a steady part time income, I tried to be a part time LIC agent when I was in India.( LIC has nothing to do with RAW btw)

Islamic extremism/militancy is rising throughout the world, even in developed countries. Surely poverty cannot be the (main) factor behind the phenomena, although it does compound the problem. It is spreading in countries that have been relatively secular in the past, & threatening to destroy their societies' balance. It is spreading in the Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa & Europe.

And who would you be referring to as the "Creator" of this? Pakistan???

.
Nothing to back his claim and nothing actually is happening. Move on.

.
Then you know nothing about terrorism. Poverty has everything to do with terrorism. You have money, a house, cars, good food, education, and financial security, you wouldn't dare to be a terrorist no matter how much you're inspired.
But for a person who has nothing and knows he will die of hunger some day, who is so uneducated that he doesn't know what is good for him and what is not, he will be ready for jihad in a minute if given some money and food along with a silly reason for his purpose.

Rich people don't go on suicide bombings, they hire people to do that. And only poor people get hired for such job.
So now you see what the connection is?

I laid stress before on the latter rather than the former...

The creator would be those that either chose to shut up against it.. or those that actively provided the fuel to use it for strategic purposes.
Islamic extremism has been around since the 50's.. the Wazir Ali mosque incident is testament to it.
Yet instead of blowing that mosque up and/or arresting those culprits.. the rulers of the day negotiated and allowed them to florish... It stayed fairly dormant till the end of Bhutto's era.. and may have remained dormant had Zia not take it under his wing and bred it into the monster that it is today.

.
Lack of education and poverty are always excellent fertilizers for extremism..the soil will then provide in abundance.

Poverty may not be a sure shot.. but it definitely works as an excellent catalyst when introduced along with lack of education and social chaos.

Well said dude.

Pakistan is not the creator of Islamic extremism/militancy, it is a victim of it.

Just as Islamic extremism/militancy has been a danger to Pakistan, it is spreading in countries that have been relatively secular in the past, & threatening to destroy their societies' balance. It is spreading in the Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa & Europe; & has not affected just Pakistan, but the world throughout. It would be unfair to pin the blame on Pakistan.
