Pak not weak to allow India to take Azad Kashmir: Farooq Abdullah :

However, he said, a “naive military adventurer, Gen Musharraf,” launched the operation without proper planning on May 8, 1999 causing loss of life of 3,000 officers and Jawans of the Northern Light Infantry (NLI) and Kashmiri Mujahideen, while India suffered loss of 474 soldiers.

Mr Farooq said the Kargil operation had brought the two neighbouring countries to the brink of a nuclear war. He said the operation code-named ‘Operation Vijay’ was a clear and unquestionable diplomatic and military victory for India, while it was another debacle for Pakistan.

The PML-N leader said Gen Musharraf had wilfully avoided constituting a commission to fix the responsibility for this huge military defeat that had demoralised the entire nation. He said the deposed prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, had “constituted a military inquiry committee that recommended court-martial” of Gen Musharraf but the general overthrew the government and “stole the report” from the PM House to save his neck.

Kargil peaks used to be vacated during winters by both sides but pakistan did not vacate them. and you call it bravery ?
Those people kicked hard by Gen. Musharraf wants to defame him but reality is different.
You know me know that we catch you sleeping and intruding deep in to your (claimed lands) and stooped supplies from lay.
But N.S loose at with meeting with Clinton otherwise situation would be different.

Not credible enough to even listen him.

and it is surrounded by india from 3 sides. You cant do anything from there. After ceasefire agreement of 2003, I.A never tried to take it back.

Btw, It was never a peak occupied by india but kargil war made india to occupy it.
Your point? Pakistan still got something out of it.

.
Kashmir problem can only be solved if Pakistan starts to think it will be difficult to keep the part which they have already had..For that to happen either India need to accelerate economically or aazaadi slogan should reach to so called aazaad Kashmir .. India on other hand had seen worst days in Kashmir and any situation in future won't change its stance ..

What different ? Your ammunition depots were bombed by IAF, even a single strike by IAF lead to more than 100 deaths on your side.

Four days later, on June 17, another important breakthrough in the joint campaign was achieved when a formation of 7 Squadron Mirage 2000Hs struck and destroyed the enemy’s main administrative and logistics encampment at Muntho Dhalo in the Batalik sector by means of accurately placed 1,000-pound general-purpose bombs delivered in high-angle dive attacks using the aircraft’s computer-assisted weapons-aiming capability. For this pivotal attack, the IAF waited until the encampment had grown to a size that rendered it strategically ripe for such targeting. The AOC-in-C of Western Air Command at the time, Air Marshal Patney, affirmed later that the essentially total destruction by the IAF of the NLI’s rudimentary but absolutely life-sustaining infrastructure at Muntho Dhalo “paralyzed the enemy war effort, as it was their major supply depot.”68 In characterizing the attack as “perhaps the most spectacular of all the [campaign’s air] strikes,” a serving IAF air commodore reported at the end of 1999 that it resulted in as many as 300 enemy casualties within just minutes.69 Figure 3 shows pre- and post-strike aerial imagery of the enemy camp at Muntho Dhalo. In the first image, a dense array of tents and structures, as well as tracks leading up the hillside from the encampment, are clearly visible. In the second, after completion of the IAF’s attacks, all that remain are bomb craters and rubble.

Lust for power sometimes blinds us, even sometimes we forget our humanity - whether it's for power, money or whatever. I don't know if all Indian think the same way their govt machinery tells or there is difference in opinion but they should have realized it by now people are not animals that you can buy. I don't know how they can claim some region their integral part when bulk of those people think India has occupier. Indian politicians shamelessly say, "Anyone looking for freedom from Indian occupation should go to Pakistan", so, when people rise the slogans they want to join Pakistan the same politicians turn to hypocrisy and would say you can go but not your property. What gives these hypocrites the right on property of those people?

Junagardh was same situation but in opposition - Hindu majority ruled by Muslim ruler and ruler decided to acceded to Pakistan. Your hypocrite govt attacked the region saying Pakistan's control over region would cause the communal violence in Junagadh, took control, conducted so called polls and annexed the state into India. Pakistan gave it even the claim on it because those people never accepted to be the part of Pakistan. However, the hypocrite b*itch would view Kashmir as integral part of India because its maharajah acceded it to India? Does all those thing which he advocated to justify the occupation Junagardh become void in Kashmir? Are not they human?
