BRUSSELS: NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Friday that Pakistan had not been invited to the upcoming Chicago summit.

Speaking to reporters, Rasmussen asked Pakistan to restore the NATO supply route.

“Our supply should be unblocked immediately,” Rasmussen said in reply to a question.

The May 20-21 summit will be the biggest NATO summit in history, with more than 60 countries and organizations represented.

The United States anticipates three results from the summit:
• An agreement on an interim milestone in 2013 when the International Security Assistance Force's mission will shift from combat to support for the Afghan national security forces;

• An agreement on the size, cost and sustainment of the Afghan forces beyond 2014; and

• A roadmap for NATO's post-2014 role in Afghanistan.

Nato Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Friday that Pakistan is among the countries that have not been invited to the Nato summit on Afghanistan in Chicago on May 21-22, Express News has reported.
India, China and Russia have also not been invited to the summit, which will be attended by Qatar, Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
Rasmussen said that Pakistan should reopen Nato supplies that it shut after United States (US) air strikes killed 24 Pakistani soldiers on November 26.
Top military commanders from Pakistan, Afghanistan and the US are set to meet this week. The meeting for the tripartite commission will be the first since Nato airstrikes on a Pakistani security forces check post near the Afghan border.
The crucial three-way talks in Rawalpindi will be attended by Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Afghan military chief General Sher Muhammad Karimi and Nato/Isaf commander General John Allen.
Talks will focus on enhancing the efficiency of border coordination measures along the Pak-Afghan border and multilateral mechanisms at operational and tactical levels.

It is true that NATO & US are desperate for their supplies but this is also true that there is value of Pakistan in the eyes of NATO 7 US thanks to these corrupt bastard jabroni Politicians who have destroyed the reputation of Pakistan completely. Gen. Muharraf had build Pakistan & made Pakistan's economy stronger & what these bastards have done here is they have completely destroyed Pakistan in every possible way yet they say shamelessly they are taking Pakistan forward which in reality means they are taking Pakistan backwards in full speed.

At this time I will only say time for Pakistan Army to step in & get the job done what Gen. Musharraf couldn't do in his time.
