As a country India maintains a Gold reserve of "557.7" Tons and in 11 place in the world's list of countries, and also India is the world biggest buyer of bullion as of now, and by 2015 the India's gold import will touch $100 billion...One more thing Indians posses the largest amount of gold in physical form as of today (in ornaments)!!!
