Pak High Commission funding hardline Hefazat-e-Islam to protest against PM Modi: Bangladesh Chhatra League chief

That's interesting information. I imagine such types are present in UK diaspora communities too.
Most BD UK diaspora ppl have their origins in Sylhet. They are somewhat religious minded. If you tell a British Pakistani that you are of Bangladeshi origin , they will certainly invite you for Iftaar and Dawat and vice versa.

. .
This guy is leading the Dhaka University wing, he will most likely eventually lead the entire Bangladesh Student League. RAW implant without a doubt.

Hindus have a significant presence in Awami League political wings and have been taking up key positions. Even outside Bangladesh, they are extremely active in propaganda campaign. Openly maligning Islam, propagating it as foreign to Bengali culture. If given a chance, these people would embrace Indian citizenship in a blink. I have seen such a bunch here in Canada.
The Muslim ones are no better, most of them are not practicing and openly atheist and propagate the same BS their Hindu compatriots do.

Any practicing Muslim wouldn't be able to serve BAL. Forget practicing Muslim, any secular nationalist Bangladeshi can't in their good conscience serve BAL. Hence you see BAL now facing opposition from nationalist secular movements, not just from the "mullahs", as it used to be the case in the past.
Dhaka Uni had soviet provided AKs now they have indian provided hindus 🤦‍♂️

.
This type of politics only exists in her tenure, it's a similar style to the way Indians would tow Pakistan in anything.

i dont know enough about Bangladesh. but just my gut feeling is Bangladesh foreign policy will be different when Hasina is no longer around.

speaking of AKs.

.
They are present everywhere. In every BD diaspora. Hence the question of loyalty based on religion does come into play. Unfortunate, but that's the truth.

There are handful of nationalist hindus who openly criticize India out of love for Bangladesh's national interest. But their numbers are too few. Very unfortunate.
I dont understand why secularism is added to the constitution, dont get me wrong , minority have to right to practice their faith, but we were part of pakistan for a reason and that is simply because we are muslims, and this is our land so that we can be safe from the hindutva.

.
so there arent practicing muslims in BAL? what about the Zia party whatever it was called?

There are. But the answer is complicated.

See, a lot of people now are forced to be in good relationship with BAL, just so that they can conduct business and live safely in Bangladesh. Some people are able to reconcile with it.

For Example- Would any practicing Muslim be able to revere Sheikh Mujib to the point of doing minor shirk like paying respect to his statue?

Some people can live the duplicitous life, and trying hard to reconcile between being a practicing Muslim and a loyal servant of BAL.

But there are others who can't. There are many who sold off their businesses in Bangladesh to move to Canada and other countries.

With regards to the opposition party- BNP. It no longer as it once was. It has also been infiltrated by RAW moles, corrupted souls. I don't really see them much different from BAL.

We need fresh people who will at least have Bangladeshi national interest at the forefront. A movement where Islam and Bengali Muslim culture will not be maligned. Unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon.

That's the direct result of Indian interference. The timing at the aftermath of the war was perfect, with nationalism at all time high and people had other things to worry about, than analyzing and understanding the future implications of the inclusion of a seemingly well intended and inoccuous verbiage about "secularism" in the constitution would do to the country 50 years down the line.

I think its time Pakistan start taking these idiot officials to international courts

.
how the heck a hindu leader is leading chatra league, or is it control by minority Hindus?
and he has taken the responsibility of defending Modi against his "own countrymen". This guy will be beating and brutalizing Bangladeshis for protesting against Modi.

.
why target the Bangladeshis on PDF? they dont make any trouble for us. you dont see them coming to the Pakistan sections and trolling/derailing topics.
no ones targeting them..just questioning a pdf policy which deosnt make sense..its not a neighbor not an important military power in the region to have its own section..is there some sort of preference going on here? if yes where's the justification?

Bangladesh is on way to becoming second largest military power in South Asia. It’s already second largest economic power.

This forum also host Afghanistan military forum which has little to nothing in terms of military except insurgency. Plus don’t digest this forum is most popular and busy one after Indian and Chinese section.

You have two option at this moment. Either ignore the forum altogether or request mod to delete it. Choice is yours!

You may want to edit the second largest military power thing. Absolutely not true in any extent.

But do agree with you on the rest.

I didn’t say it’s overnight but it will be for sure at least in terms of expenditure.

For example Pakistan allocated $7.85bn for defence and merely $151m for health in the budget for the financial year 2020-2021.

So despite they allowed almost twice the budget than Bangladesh but their health care budget is negligible. Whereas Bangladesh allocated $3.4 Billion USD in the health care. Have you see. The difference between the both countries?

Now add education on top of it. You will see Bangladesh spends more on (Defense + Education + Healthcare) than Pakistan. By diverting more money to defense Bangladesh can have a much larger defense force but that’s not the priority at the moment.
