PAK FA with 'Brahmos'

square nozzles don't ensure less heat signature. Heat signature is reduced by making the cold air mix with the exhaust gases. For that the edge of the nozzle is made to have tooth shaped ends.

Let's see what they select for PakFa. But it won't be square nozzles.

Wts the difference between 2D & 3D TVC

In 2D TVC, the thrust can be vectored in only pitch axis (up or down). Whereas in 3D TVC, the thrust can be vectored in pitch as well as yaw(left or right) axis. And both engine nozzles are independent of each other, which allows them to assist in roll maneuvers too.

Is our MKI already have 3D TVC???

so how many planes using 2D and 3D TVC technology ????

Actually MKIs TVC is often called 2.5D because it is not simply up and downwards like the F22 TVC.
So far only Su 35 and the Mig 29 OVT uses 3D TVC, there was one developed for the EF, but never integrated, J10 is a likely candidate as well. The US developed and tested some on different fighters, but they are not on offer for operational service.

So TVC of Su 35 is batter than F22???

No chance for PAK-FA or FGFA to Carry bhromos under the wings or belly... just think what is the use of it & how it is possible to carry

integrating Brahmos to FGFA , ..
integrating Brahmos to su-30mki
upgrading mig-29 with ground attack capabiliies..
proposed mirage upgrade to enhance ground attack capabilities..
Jaguare are already ground attack aircrafts..
MMRCA ,looking for ground attack capabilities..
LCA reportedly have a hybrid radar with ground maping mode....

is the reason that with the 100km A2A missiles taking air combat to a different level , has the air supirioty taken a back step...?..i mean a fighter no longer need to be carring lesser weight (to add agility) on a combat mission due to beyond range air combat and the full load carring capacity could be utulize to carry extra ground attack weapons..
this is because we need ability to rain ASMs and bombs.

But this source show that F22, Su 37 and Mki using 2D TVC

Let me try to explain it differently,

In 2D TVC, the thrust can be vectored up and down.

F22

The MKI has technically also a 2D TVC, because the thrust is vectored also up and down, but the axis is angled to some degree, that's why it can vector the thrust to the yaw axis to some extend too.

In 3D TVC, the thrust can be vectored in any direction

You can compare it in these videos too:

2D F22

2(.5)D MKI

3D Mig 29 OVT

Not under the belly, but the smaller version that is under development is meant for the wing stations (1 each wing). The use should be clear, as an A2G, or an anti ship cruise missile.

(a) For launching a sure strike precision weapon from the edge of detection envelope with minimum detection probability.

(b) Ensuring that our best combat aircraft can launch our best weapons

Why do people assume that in case of actual attack, we will just FGFA to attack. There are things like jamming, decoys, distraction, air superiority fighters in an air war.

This is a good move.
