Excellent thread benny, guess the inlet question is answered to certain extent here and the plasma thing too. So it is being used to break the lock on of Amraam only????

I have a got a crazy idea what if a dedicated EW aircraft variant of PAK FA is developed like growler, with powerful engines so that the plasma doesn't just work for a few seconds but for elongated time? what say experts please comment on this.

I am wondering how would the 2 seater FGFA look like? Wish IAF quit their obsession with twin seaters and come to age with single seater. MKI was a different issue compared to a futuristic stealth fighter that will have computers to backup battlefield management.

Impossible as IDF has already signed a deal for 70+ Lightning 2 A/C's
But the FGFA will probably include Israeli jammers and weapons(?).
