There is no "invention" here. This is nothing more than a hoax and a fraud. Caveat Emptor!

Well , then it one that must be exposed.. since at this point.. like the hoax of the fake passports.. its all over the news.

Oh the hype will die out soon after the tricksters have made off with many people's money.

Along with making a fool out of millions on prime time TV.. which is it.. remains to be seen.
I for one, have trouble believing the whole deal.. sure I agree that the car can be powered by the electrolysis process..
but that process is far from efficient or economical.

That's the whole problem.

Car does run, but it is not feasible in the long run. You will keep on recharging your battery for the rest of your life, and getting distilled water.

If one does the calculations, the stock battery/alternator/electrical system simply cannot provide enough electrolysis capability to run the car for anything more than a minimal amount, if that.

This is nothing more than a hoax.

I wish Pakistan Navy takes it seriously and give up idea of building/getting a SSBN. First treat sea water (this device already exist) in one compartment and then use this engine to generate electricity. Voila, you have sub which require the medium in which it roam, the water itself as a fuel.

I have another novel idea. This time for PAF. Build a device consisting of aerosols so that it can generate water from clouds or air, uses the humidity or water vapours in the atmosphere and then this engine. Voila you can fly any fighter plane for any number of hours getting its fuel from the medium in which it fly.

Engineer from my home town Khairpur Agha Waqar Ahmed Claims to run car solely on water using CNG KIT but instead of CNG he uses distled water to make hydrogen gas then use that hydrogen gas in the CNG kit to run the car.he is interviewed by hamid mir.

(IANS) / 28 July 2012

ISLAMABAD — A Pakistani engineer has built a car that runs on water, a feat that left onlookers astounded.
Engineer Waqar Ahmad drove his car using water as fuel on Thursday during a demonstration for parliamentarians, scientists and students, Dawn reported from the capital.

He said cars could be driven by a system fuelled by water instead of petrol or CNG.

The onlookers were taken aback when they saw it and a cabinet sub-committee lauded the ‘Water Fuel Kit Project’.

Religious Affairs Minister Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah, who heads the panel, said the engineer would have their full support.

The media report explained that the water fuelling system is a technology in which ‘hydrogen bonding’ with distilled water produces hydrogen gas to run the car.

Ahmad had earlier told Shah about the unique project and it was taken to the federal cabinet which asked its sub-committee to discuss it. During the demonstration, Shah himself drove the car.

The minister said that Ahmad would be given complete security and the formula would be kept secure. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh value the project, he said.

“We own this project and are committed to successfully completing it,” he was quoted as saying.
Great achievement. Good work

Well, to be honest, the car did run for 30-35 minutes in Islamabad, driven by Hamid Mir.

Very likely NOT from onboard generated hydrogen/HHO for all of that duration.

\

The presenter did mention it repeatedly that it was only the water. And the guy did disconnect the CNG pipe and put in place the pipe from the electrolysis tank.

I have good reasons for my doubts. ;)

This is a 100% HOAX.

If the car ran from the generated hydrogen, then he indeed may have made the pair or efficient electrodes to do fast electrolysis. But again this has to be independently proved first.

Did anyone watch the complete program of Hamid Mir? The engineer says he spent 3 years and took loan worth; one and half crore to do this project. :disagree:
It's a scam as far as i can tell. These kits can be purchased for $99 at any hardware store and it does work but its not practical at all.

This "kit" simply DOES NOT WORK. IMPOSSIBLE.

This is the part that bothers me.
