yea u know oz media oz army very well then any one else,
recently oz army was blamed for not responding in time or we can say they were just stranded like bunch of statues in east timor when rebels attacked in power President Jose Ramos-Horta. there was no coordination and kevin rudd rushed to ET for console and cover up.
i don't know what u trying to say, at home people want troops back or near home. but oz policies pass though US prism this is a sorry story for any oz nationalists.
my post is to explain the feasibility of this cooperation not to refer any fictional white paper which is just a paper till date!!! you know what i mean. no doubt oz army severely need international missions and international military cooperation. But for a country having no guts to send its players to sub continent; shaking hands for international anti-terror mechanism specially with pakistan in this contemporary climate seems just symbolic.
first oz should learn to disobey US to prove that oz has it own new progressive and aggressive face. if you think white paper is a historic step to feel good about new and rapidly changing australia then again no one is going to buy it.
Budget provision in this paper are very very low as compare to the countries referred in this white paper as challenge in APC region i.e. china, india etc. i am not addressing from where oz will raise these revenues ;;its another cane of worms.
secondly this white paper of Australia is a panic of white Australia distrusting black American president. it is clearly mentioned in this paper that US is not going to save oz aasss. this time as it had saved the same in ww2.
Ratus, you seem to have a itzy bitzy problem here mate!
