50 years ago ,because of good relations (worse now) with Gulf countries, Pakistan followed them ,against Israel with enemy style relations. But now all those Arab countries have very good relations and bussiness with Israel. So following above Arabs, Pakistan must recognize Israil and establish best relations at all levels, economy, defence and diplomacy. Even Israel has ask Pakistan to tage advantage of mutual friendship between Israel and Pakistan.

Well, I support IK over the 2 most corrupt parties which already ruled our country for decades and delivered nothing good. The biggest responsible for this mess is military which never let a strong govt come in power and indirectly ruled the country.

However, on the issue of Israel. What's really wrong in accepting what's already a reality. We don't have to be cowards to close eyes on hard reality. Israel exists and its not going anywhere. Whole world recognize Israel. So many muslim countries, including all of its neighbors (and our best buddies), every central asian muslim country and many middle east countries have full diplomatic relations with Israel.

Even most of Palestinians want 2 state solution and even they recognize Israel as the second state. I mean if we think by not recognizing Israel we are doing anything positive then we must be fools. Other muslim countries which have relations can atleast convey their concerns or lodge their protest diplomatically whenever Israel do aggression towards Palestinians. We even cannot do that!. Only if we had diplomatic relations only then we could have added any of our influence.

These are my thoughts. If anyone wants to label me as "Yahoodi Agent" then be my guest, I hardly care. But its time we Pakistanis need to start thinking with our brain. We are not super power and no one really cares if we keep going at totally different path then the world.

By the way, by this commentary I never accept Israel's aggression, its illegal settlements and its resistance to 2-state solution.

I wonder we have full diplomatic relations with our arch rival india with which we have long time dispute over Kashmir but we don't have diplomatic relations with a country 1000s miles away.

The above looks like a doctored text. Don't believe something as basic and silly as above would be in a book by Daniel Markey (the person quoting the book has misspelled the author's name which goes to tell what amazing think tank this nonsense came from). The issue is not that Israel exists. The issue is a permanent two state solution is being dragged on for decades ; once that is sorted the yes accept Israel.
