Pak Airspace closure hits Indian Pockets: AI appeals to 'inactive' crew to immediately join work.

Lol Modi's election stunt is proving to be a disaster for Indian public/Military and now even commercial entities !

.
this is nothing the issue is in head offices of Indian airlines all of them suddenly busy in accounts and finance departments to count. real game will come out at the end of year .
Kuchh roshni daalain..

.
Now retarded Indians will say 'that we should close our airspace for Pakistani flights too' ignoring the fact that there isn't much of our traffic to east as it is for them towards west.

Common sense, and logic are not qualities that one associates with Indians!!!!

leave alone others charges such as
overflying payment of per/km
maintenance cost
time managements or turn around time losses (very important for airlines)
extra payments to on board staff for more working hours
less seat avilibility because of more usage of planes

lets only talk about fuel charges only because they are the major issue after time management . its simple a 777 land in delhi after long haul flight and then turn a late night coach between Delhi Mumbai and early morning return base with now long haul flight but now that Delhi Mumbai short flight will be impossible for that 777 its just an example .this will loss big amount but lets talk only fuel

The Boeing 767-300ER consumes 6056 litters of fuel for each hour in flight.
Boeing 747-8I/F burns 10114 litters per hour or about
Airbus A330-200E burns 5200 litters of fuel an hour
Airbus A350 burns ~5490 litter of fuel an hour
777-200LR burns ~6800 litters of fuel per hour
777-300ER burns ~7500 litters of fuel per hour

With jet fuel currently costing $1.89 per litter

or lets say another way Cruising costs per hour are
747 - $13,380 per hour
777 - $9366 per hour
A330- 8490 per hour
A350 - $7359 per hour

they will be busy with calculators to count losses remember we just talk fuel not all the losses here

and Pakistan forcing them to use some 200+ flights daily with each 2 to 3 hours flight hours extra . for nothing just simply useless flight hours

Double Whammy.... Are we allowing indians ships to go through pakistani waters? Please ban them too, let them go through international waters..

ALso, Any friendly nations whose aircrafts and naval frieght ships which are bound for india should go through international waters instead of pakistani territorial waters.

A 747 taking off at maximum takeoff weight for a 14 hour flight will burn about 11350 liters per hour.

1) And the fatigue on the crew, they have to follow international laws and have to be relieved, hence cost of more pilots to fill in..

2) Cost of goods increase, moving south first and then flying out to their destinations. Making them less competitive...

3) Anxiety of travellers going north India... they be upset, north is the most populated part of india...

4) termination of direct flights to US, or mandatory 4 hour stop at mambai before commencing to Newark ... hence, huge loss of revenue to airlines ...

I always said, in case of war, India has a lot to lose than Pakistan .. their FDi will drop and international offices will pack... India should think twice of destroying its economy ... this is just a trailer for them

Thank you.

Is it possible for us to decide to only allow non Indian owned airlines only so that Indian airlines can't compete with foreign ones on ticket prices.

Are foreign ( not Indian) airlines allowed to overfly Pakistan on flights to India?

nope sir no one is allowed to cross that damn border . i think its Pakistani air defense's demand to keep sky clear . as last time they can not fire missiles on indian jets while dozens of civilian planes were nearby . now they are ready but indians did not dare to come close .every airline travel to south india from west is suffering

BTW japan Korea china are flying over Pakistan with new route avoiding to fly over india

Thank you.

yes we can do it .we did it in past we banned indian registered airlines but everyone else can fly over us . for example even today all other airlines from and to qatar using UAE-SAUDI BAHRAINI EGYPTION air space ban is only on qatar airways .

Thanks.
If we applied the ban selectively, we could potentially make Air India competitively unviable. I don't think we are as aggressive as we could and should be on the diplomatic and commercial front, while they take every opportunity to disadvantage us on all fronts. We need to change our stance and make our presence felt.

Some wishful thinking. At any day, the number of international airlines flying through Pakistan is minuscule right now. You are not a country having busy international air traffic. Because of closure of airspace, most airlines are avoiding Pakistan altogether and takes the long route through Dubai.
This is not a zero sum game either, our airlines makes some loss in flying so does you for not having much international traffic.

You have no rights over commercial ships that pass through your EEZ. No commercial ships pass through Pakistan's 'territorial' waters which are bound to India.
