PAF's downing of Indian jet the best moment of my term so far: PM Imran

Hi Mig error can be forgiven, on the account of the event had just happened (his televised speech was on 27th itself) but he has made repeated references to just one Indian jet being shot down by PAF in the recent days 7 - 8 months after the incident, isn't just an error.

You can give all the excuses you want, "that he might have meant this or he might have meant that " but the writings is on the wall.

Historically speaking Pakistani prime ministers have a history of exposing the ISPR propaganda, Nawaz Sharif exposed ISPR's Kargil lies and Imran Khan seems to be undoing 27th Feb.
Gosh... lame Indians are again here debating whether it was one jet or two.. bro these were two jets shot down by PAF on 27 Feb and left your IAF red faced...

If my count is correct, this is the 3rd time Imran Khan has said an IAF jet(singular) and not jets were shot down . Earlier in his op ed in New York times also, he said, PAF shot down one Indian aircraft and not aircrafts.

All I can say, at least Imran khan seems to have more integrity than entire PAF top brass and ISPR.
there are like six instances where he mentioned jetS... don't be selective listener

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday was quoted as saying that the best moment of his young premiership was when the Pakistan Air Force shot down an Indian fighter jet intruding into Pakistani airspace.

The premier reportedly made the comments while talking to senior journalist Irshad Bhatti, who disclosed the details of his meeting with the premier during an appearance on Geo News programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Key Sath.

Bhatti said that the prime minister had also remarked that the lowest point of his term so far was to witness the persistent persecution of the people of occupied Kashmir by the Indian security forces.

During the interview, the prime minister also discussed domestic politics, alleging that JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman had been "cutting suspect deals" throughout his political career.

Dispelling the impression that the government too had "struck a deal", PM Imran said that the Maulana should clarify and tell the nation about the party with which he reached such an agreement.

The JUI-F chief is talking in an "ambiguous" manner, the prime minister said, adding that he would let the Maulana claim what he wished to.

"Fazl kept the people there by offering them money," Bhatti quoted the prime minister as saying, and noted that the staging of a successful sit-in was not a joke as he dared the Maulana to try it again.

"A leader who abandons his workers in rain and rough weather cannot stage a sit-in," the prime minister reportedly told Bhatti, noting that the Maulana's plan had ran its course and reached point Z.

Two times in history of Pakistan, nation was down as hell, and Indians were jumping like monkeys. And next day monkeys were as quite as dead. 1) when India tested atomic bomb in 1998 2) in 2019, when Indian jets intruded and did surgical strikes.
Pakistan's response was really really amazing.
I was amazed and surprised, and trust me, surpring me is not an easy task. :p:

I doubt anyone sitting in the PM's office would say that. Khan sahib is a pacifist by heart. War etc. does not appeal to him. I usually always have doubts about this hearsay business in use in the Pakistani media.

There are far more important things for IK to be proud of instead of celebrating war and conflict.

Khan sahab said this to this gentleman... according to him, on the question which moment so far is the best till now Khan sahab? he responded, "when we shot-down Indian fighter jets". Irshad Bhatti told this in Khanzada program.

I doubt the sagacity demanded by the Prime Minister's office has often been met by our Prime Ministers. This is precisely the sort of thing Imran Khan would say.

I have strong doubts. But, I pray that may Allah make your assessment true.
Current account gets into surplus which is a huge development. Exports are rising and if it keeps on rising continously then sooner or later budget deficit will also be trim downed and growth will pick up...

I expect that things will start improving in a quarter ... 2019 is year of stabilization 2020 will be year of recovery

You forget about Imran Khan's speech in UNSC where he said about two planes in front of the entire world. Ahh sure we only listen what we want to hear, I can understand your pain and embarrassment.

I was not pleased with IKs rhetoric, promises and allies during the election. I was unimpressed with his behavior after he won. But by Allah from the moment he made that speech warning those gujjus and mallus then woke up to news of their plane being downed it was the first time in my life I was proud of my country. Im 34 years old and have witnessed only disappointment when it comes to Pakistan. May Allah give him the time and power to set this nation straight.

28 may 1998 and 27 feb 2019 are the only two days when i felt proud of being a pakistani.

End of Jan - A jaguar crashed on 28 Jan 2019

A Mirage-2000 crashed in early Feb 2019.
A Mig-27 crashed in mid Feb 2019
Two IAF trainers crashed after Mid Feb 2019.
Two jets downed by PAF at end of Feb 2019. A helicopter downed by Indian AD missile the same day.

March - counter restarts on 8th march with another IAF crash: Mig-21.

Don't know if its sheer stupidity or we should be happy we have an incompetent enemy maintaining their equipment.

But I'm not surprised I have seen Indian property owners I insure who either don't bother at all maintaining their properties or do the bare minimum to get by and train of thought of theirs is in their military as well.

Yes I was pretty down and ashamed that India had gotten away on 26th and why we were unable to stop them. However, the statements coming from DGISPR like the 'response will come' made me sense something was coming. Next day I woke up and saw the Indian helicopter burning on tv. Then it went on getting better with the pilot's video then news of bombing. The trust was restored by PAF.

In 1998, when India tested bombed, Indians were like : now Pakistan is done, we will slaughter you all.
When Pakistan tested their device, there was only cricket sound.

Wisdom pours from the PM's aura.

This statement reminds of his statement on Defense Day 2018 where he said during 1971 war he wanted to take his rifle and go to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation.

It makes it worthwhile to live in such great times.
