PAF & the ramifications of Rafale's sale to India

Source and back up with facts and link for you BIG CLAIM.
On September 2013 in Turkish T-LORADMIS program Turkey chose HQ-9 as the winner over European Aster-30, USA MIM-104, Russian S-300 missile systems.

In my last analysis on this thread, I discussed about J-10, Su-35 & EF Typhoon. while hovering around, I got another option PAF might opt for. It is very suitable for Air Superiority and Maritime Strike roles i.e. What actually PAF is in need.
It is Mig-35, with just $30-40 million reported per unit in 2014. With this cost, we can easily got hands on 3 or 4 Sqns.
Have a look at Mig-35 Documentry

Mig-35 is a good bird, and if you can git a Chinese ram jet BVR to it might be able to handle the Rafale (maybe)

Mig-35 Vs Eurofighter Typhoon.

When comparing these two jet fighters, the Eurofighter Typhoon is a better airplane but is considerably more expensive, even three times, but if we look at the ratio of price: quality; MiG-35 is significantly more cost-effective for many countries.

In the Beyond Visual Range (BVR) fight; Eurofighter is in most cases the winner due to better radar and technology.

West fighter uses proven missile MBDA Meteor while eastern fighter uses the same good Vympel R-77M missile. The advantage of the Eurofighter is in a slightly better radar and a lot better technology, especially in defense equipment. Huge progress of the MiG-35 is reflected in electronics, weapons systems, the new AESA radar and the uniquely designed optical system of locating (Optical Locator System (OLS)), but Eurofighter electronics is still better – EuroDASS Electronic Warfare.

Both aircraft are similar in size, the MiG-35 is a bit bigger – longer for 1.35 meters and wider for 1.05 meters, while the weight and engine power are almost identical …

1. I would choose the MIG 35 for a very simple reason. The price! It is less than 1/3 of Eurofighter. Imagine two enemy countries engaged in an air war. Both countries had enough money to buy and operate 100 Eurofighter typhoons. But one country choose the MIG 35. If those countries threw every jet they have at one another you would have 100 Eurofighters dealing with more than 300 MIG 35s. This means multiply the MIGs armament, the fuel, and the avionics by at least 3 against 1 eurofighter. Which country would be victorious in this air battle?

I would like to see Mig-35 as Pakistani specific variant, with already in use Pakistani wepons, HMSD and external POD point.

Indians are experts on Fulcrum plus we need much better fighter than MIG-35. Flanker is different case since Chinese are experts on it as well due to which we can get training and maintenance support from them. Typhoon is strong enough to handle to 3 MIG-35.

I m considering possibilities other then Flankers. Flankers are obviously our first priority. EFTyphoon is too expensive out of range and expensive in operations too.

Operational cost of Typhoon is cheaper than Rafale and Su-35.

J-11 & Eurfighter are best answers .

J-11 in one go can cover from karachi till calcutta (Deep penetration Strike ) WoW
Source and back up with facts and link for you BIG CLAIM.

J-11 could not be exported due to IPR Voilation as it is build on the Su-27 technology and design, and is still powered by Russian Engine.

HAL have rejected, they are free to choose the Indian PVT company such as TATA .
i know ofcourse even if there is no IPR this is multi billion technology and cannot be photocopied at stationers shop

There's nothing stoping China from exporting its SU-27 derivates. The Chinese blatantly copied the Russian jets & inducted them in service. If anyone wants them, they will export them, same way they exported F-7s & F-6s & compete directly with similar Russian jets in the international market.
