PAF successfully test-fires indigenously developed long-range smart weapon from JF-17 Thunder

.
Yup! I recorded the video myself.

@JamD Denel said it tested a 'medium-range, low-cost munition' for a client in 2016/2017. I don't think Pakistan would need to send out testing work now thanks to upgrades made to the Somniani WTR, but back then, maybe...

A medium range, low-cost guided weapon flight test conducted for a client in early 2017 was successful, with the weapons released hitting the target within set specifications and the client expressing satisfaction with the weapon’s performance.

It can't be REK since its integration to the JF-17 was made public knowledge, so this is a different weapon. But the blur still makes it seem like a glide weapon of some kind, though one they obviously can't disclose. Perhaps it's the H-2/H-4 being tested from the JF-17? Notice the terminal-stage jerk by the black box, an EO/TV controller?

Or they intentionally caused the jitter to mislead. The video could have been slowed down to avoid revealing the true speed.

It is likely whatever this is, has South African input (there are many other reasons for me to believe this as well). But about it being a purely glide weapon, I don't think words like enhanced range would be used for something that would essentially have the same range by virtue of being unpowered. Let's wait for the official press release. I don't want to speculate too much.

Avionics Production Factory (APF) OR Atomic Packing Factor (APF)
The video i posted says that back in 2017 APF developed the software and avionics for JF-17 so that smart bombs can be integrated....
Now they may be testing different types of smart bombs...

Then it's definitely Avionics Production Factory (APF). You can read about this from here

Perhaps, but the speed isn't the issue, it's the trajectory. The REK seems to cut straight to the target, but this 'black box' made a terminal stage correction. I don't know if a pure GPS/INS system like REK would do that so close to the target, but I can see that correction in an EO/TV system.

@JamD on that note, it could be an evolution of the REK wherein, like the SPICE, AWC could have integrated an EO/TV element to the REK suite. In effect, this would give the JF-17 a system similar to the H-2/H-4 and direct counterpart to the SPICE.

You call it speculation. I call it, "for Pakistanis, the meaning of life itself."

H-2 / H-4 was used on 27th February retaliatory strike and the booster rack was found in a field in Bhimber.

The jitter you are talking about is just the black box jittering because some guy manually placed it every 10 frames or something and interpolated. I looked at the video closely, the actual weapon that you can see behind it, does not jitter or anything of that sort.

If this is from an official source then this confirms that this is not the REK, based on the use of the words extended range.

so they censored the missle or what ever it is ?
From the study of the shock wave it seems to be a FAE (Fuel Air Explosive) also called thermobaric bombs. American MOAB (mother of all bombs) used in Afghanistan was same. Its also called mini atom bomb. Shock wave is so intense that if tears the lungs of the soldiers sitting in bunkers, Rest you guys can google yourself.
