Not at all nothing like this but rather AC parking at AFB about which Paf had already apprehension regarding army's intentions. Some listening devices were also caught in that AFB priorly as well.

The PAF wanted Army to keep it at Dhamial, but that was more of a taunt rather than serious suggestion . Also I heard there were two camps regarding who should buy and operate the aircraft, isi par hi bari tu tu main main lagi rahi thi.

Also, you would be pleased to know, the same ex-forces players who got the jet for DG I also got one for Monis Elahi.

When ur higher echelons say no to do something about it than obviously what ever maybe the intentions u have in ur heart u can't do anything about it. It was picked up by 485 MCC well before crossing the border. Issue wasn't with the early warning of intruder, It was with the will from big guns. I'm not talking about the big gun in blue!
Additionally weak political stability acted as catalyst to whole process. If Government at that time was stable enough might have been a different outcome to all of this. Same happened in salala.

Another simple answer could have been that we didn't have the sufficient SAM coverage to intercept the missile. The missile launch was tracked but with its speed and point of heading, but there was nothing in the area capable enough to intercept it. I'm 300% sure that had there been even a close chance of intercepting that missile, the Tri services would have gone for it. The way they remained criminally silent initially, only coming out when it became widespread through social media, there. Missile likely flew in a Stright direction and landed considerably deep inside Pakistan. You can't really say that the tri-services were waiting for someone's nod to do their job. Indians were able to silently send a message to their counterparts in Pakistan. PAF's induction of medium range SAMs (HQ-9 and HQ-16) shows that now service is taking such threats more seriously rather than relying on short range SAMs for point defence.
