I think this is part of 3 Saab-2000 AEW&C order. The order may not be 3 full AEW&C systems but instead IMHO, it more likely to be:

1. 3 x Erieye Systems + 2 x Saab 2000 OR
2. 3 x Erieye Systems + 1 x Saab 2000(if 019 is converted)

This is what is known:

019: Transport config, from original order of 5.
024: Unknown config, acquired in Apr 2018. Probably will be or has been converted to AEW&C under the follow up order of 3.
025: AEW&C, from original order of 5. Damaged in Kamra but known to be repaired.
029: Transport config, acquired in 2016. Most likely to be replacement aircraft for 1 completely lost in Karma(040 or 045). Erieye AEW&C system may be included in the follow up order of 3. [Source].
045: AEW&C, from original order of 5. Seen flying soon after Kamra Attack.
040/045: AEW&C, from original order of 5. One was repaired after Kamra, other was completely lost. 029 was likely acquired as replacement of the lost one.

So it likely there will be another Saab-2000 delivered to PAF, unless 019 is converted to AEW&C. Bottom line, PAF will have it original planned strength of 6 Saab AEW&C by 2019.

These Saab 2000’s have pressurized cabin and cockpit, don’t they? Doesn’t that effect the aircrafts life, It’s already 23 years old.
