Just found this Prasun K Sengupta's comment on RSAF typhoon induction
Great Shots! Now expect several dozen experienced Pakistan Air Force 'non-combatant' flight instructors to descend at Watron to begin operational conversion, and stay deployed in Saudi Arabia for the next 36 months as part of the Typhoon Induction Team. Four senior PAF pilots are already deployed with the RSAF's Typhoon Project Team to chart out the Typhoon's operational induction process.

i think paf won't go for the typhoon. They are trying to make their fleet consist of similiar aircrafts.
Just my opinion!

Its just more than that, they are going to know this from inside out.....guess who'z gearing up for a large induction worth 12 Billion USD :toast_sign:

Inside out of EF with sesitive weapon information etc?

No probs, we get brand new radar + weapon system for 12B. We do not buy such cheap...

guess whoz here with some "technical facts":woot: its RSAF buying them and they dont have any cash strains.

1] paf will know the typhoon's capabilites inside out
2] paf will incorporate equivalent capabilities in j10b [which is already 'directly' influenced by f16a,lavi,j11b]

Lavi is a decades old abandoned project. EF2000 is totally a differnt concept and doesnt have anything in common with the planes you listed.

remembered the Israeli Mig-21 saga? I think that should give you a fair hint

That was dogfight era, so u need to know the capabilities of your opponent to outmaneuver them. But today it'll hardly help in a BVR fight.
