PAF Keeping Indians on the Edge l Pakistan Air Force jets go supersonic at LoC

As I stated in my post that I hoped that we get to the solution of this quickly … which is preferable. Otherwise, we must keep our guards up at all cost. If you read the posts prior to mine, you would see some members chest thumping about keeping the enemy on their toes. All this is happening due to the compulsions of a very extremist minded individual. And we are countering that. And we should. But there is a cost in doing that. And we will have to bear it. No reason to be too gung ho about all this. Because the common man will suffer when the prices go up in coming months. The quicker the resolution lesser the impact on the common man. Hope you understood.

Hope you are right. Knowing Modi, he will not settle down till he has salvaged some trophy points to improve his standing before the next elections. Hope saner elements prevail. I am not worried about the military aspect of it. Our military will defend our land and do us proud. It's the economic impact afterwards. The enemy's economy is in better shape than ours. Also I have a family to take care of. No doubt these things have their impact on all of us later on.

You see my friend, the decrease in tensions and coming back to normality cannot be achieved by one party. It takes two to tango.

Its meant to be for their own consumption so it will be full of delusions and myths. They're still in shock after the Supah powah got their *** handed to them by a country seven times smaller then them. :)
The standard, however, is like 17 Turkic horsemen conquering the entire Bengal without chopping a single head off!!!

The time to conquer Bengal = time to gallop through Bengal

The cost of conquering Bengal = the cost of feeding 17 horses for a couple of weeks

Guys suppose Indians make another attempt and somehow manage to cross in...and in response another IAF jet downs another pilot is capture ......than?

than? than escalation.we will hit bjp headquarters in case they infiltrate again.they must feel the pain.

That makes sense actually. Just because Pakistan holds wild card in Afghanistan Peace Talks, D.C will really want a regional conflict that can harm so Pakistan will ease on conditions or rather, can be brought to unconditional pro US peace talks. These strategical games are complex and anything can be expected. US wouldn't just walk away like that & Pakistan intelligentsia must be aware as who is supporting India in this conflict through covert means, hence, all the preparations. However, there are other parties as well waiting for US etc to commit such mistake in favour to India. It would be wrong to assume that US hasn't calculated that part of aftermath.
Too many cooks spoil the broth...

HIGHLIGHTS
  • India would have destroyed half of Pakistan jets if it had Rafale: Former Chief of Air Staff
  • India has exposed Pakistan's nuclear bluff by carrying out airstrikes: Arun Jaitley
  • Jaitley added that Pakistan has realised it can't win conventional wars with India

Two Pakistani fighter aircraft were monitored flying very close to Indian territory near Jammu and Kashmir late last night.

Their aircraft were monitored closely by the Indian Air Force that has been keeping a close watch of the area.

The planes were flying at high speed and even broke the sound barrier in the area causing panic.

Speaking at the Aaj Tak security summit on Tuesday, former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal AY Tipnis said the Indian Air Force needed more squadrons and if the IAF had Rafale, it would have destroyed half of Pakistan's fighter jets.

"The aim of the 24 Pakistan jets was to attack Srinagar, Awantipora base. If India had Rafale at that time, IAF would have destroyed at least 12 of them. Rafale will boost the morale of IAF," Air Marshal AY Tipnis said.

Earlier, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had said India has "exposed" Pakistan's nuclear bluff by carrying out airstrikes to eliminate Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror camp in Balakot on February 26, reported news agency IANS.

FM Jaitley said India has fought several wars with Pakistan including 1965, 1971 and during the Kargil conflict. "Since then, Pakistan's army has realised that because of our huge economy and superior military strength, conventional wars cannot be won," he said.

Raging thunder.
Şu kopan fırtına Türk ordusudur ya Rabbi,
Senin uğrunda ölen ordu budur ya Rabbi,
Ta ki, yükselen ezanlarla müeyyed namın
Galib et, çünkü bu son ordusudur İslamın.

This raging thunder storm is the Turkish* Army O LORD,
This is the Army to die for YOUR sake O LORD,
Let them raise with Azan YOUR NAME
Render them victorious, for they are the Last Army of Islam.

- Yahya Kemal, the first Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan
