Now all national songs just have good video shoot and their poetry is just pathatic

I can live with sub par poetry. my problem on the other hand is flashing imagery and crap graphics in some videos (done by News channels reporting on frontlines etc).

Modern day nice one:

You forgot Hawa ka sipahi,its also a top class song.In modern songs Mere Watan is the only one l like and maybe one or two more,rest are cancer for ears.

That song has a personal interest for me. My father flew a lot of the F-7 and some F-16 scenes for that song.

I have a suggestion.
The government should formally announce a national song writing competition and all of our leading as well as young poets should be invited.And they should be encouraged to write Blood Boiling Poetry for a new wave of National Songs.The focus here should be the quality of lyrics and not the music itself.
Because our new generation is not listening to those Gem pieces that we used to listen to while growing up and i think we are really missing out on making our kids Patriotic.
