What is this?????
Just wondering whether this type of refueling prob adds significantly to RCS.....I heard that JSF would have a adjustable refueling prob....anyone on this?
JSF has retractable refuling probe.
So what happens if the fuel leaks and goes into engine
The fuel doesn't begin to transfer until the probe has formed an air-tight seal with the drogue and locked on. This means that, if there is a fuel leak, it won't be a huge one. If a little bit of fuel ends up in the engine, it's shouldn't pose a serious problem, and at most, you will end up with unburnt fuel coming out of the engine. If, for some reason, a lot of fuel is being spilt, the pilot can disengage and fly away.So what happens if the fuel leaks and goes into engine

Hi Mr. Nabil_05, can you kindly shed any details on how you know the JF-17 will have a Swedish retractable fuel probe? I read on the Asian Defence Blog that the JF-17 was testing two configurations, one static and the other one retractable. Thanks!
