Things changed
Now is not era of dogfight

One with better radar, better stealth, better avionics jamming etc will be victorious.

Also awacs in air, situation awareness and jamming will be biggest factor.

An A grade pilot in F16/ J17 will be sitting duck by trainee pilot in F22.

On several occasions USAF pilots flying T-38 Talons defeated F-22s. However, these T-38 were piloted by seasoned F-22 pilots who knew the aircraft inside out, whereas the F-22s were being piloted by trainees or pilots undergoing conversions. The feat of the seasoned pilots showed it was possible to defeat F-22s with last gen. fighters, especially if one knows the A2A vulnerabilities of the F-22 or even F-35. The catch, however, was finding the F-22. As the radar and other aircraft detection technologies improve the F-22 and F-35, and other similar developments, could nevertheless become somewhat vulnerable.

That's quite true.
The shameful thing is Israel a puny nation surrounded by all the Arab countries with far bigger populations,armies is still giving them a tough time. If only one Arab country has a air force like PAF trust me any next war of Israel will decide it's very existence. And knowing there is a air force like PAF in the region they will think ten times before bombing Gaza , Lebanon or Syria.
