PAF Combat Fleet numbers dwindling

Hi how ru guy's y r u taking tension for PAF but u may ave to take for IAF coz:
PAF fleet by 2014 i'm sure:
JF-17 : 250 (single seat)
JFT-17 : 50 (Dual seat)
J-10B's : 100-150
F-16's : 62 MLU-3's or may be more
by JF-17 i mean the current version and may be the same no. of the next version which may getin 2 production by 2015 with much much better avionics and CFT's to replace the F-16's and increase the nos of jets in order to counter IAF's 1000-1200 jets which they have shown interest. I have heared several times on T.V by some defence analyst and other indian defence analyst and people realted to IR studies. i 'll be right in terms of PAF im sure about it.

how can pakistan produce 100-150 j-10 and 250 jf-17 in 5 yrs . plz explain .
dont take such a huge shot in the air .

.
DOUBLE engine fighters might be more costly to buy, costlier to maintain , if either one enjine is shutdown it would have to be sent to the seller thus more strings /hiccups would be attatched, more fuel requirements, more for aggression than for defence.... less number of aircrafts in the same money..
..
*missiles might be an easy substitute to the more payload of double engine fighters
*eyerre might be a better alternate to the better radar in a double engine fighters

.
250 jf-17 in 5 yrs
*gradually the jf17 aircrafts will be made both in pakistan and china thus increasing the turnout.
*infact some components are now made in pakistan and almost 100% production in pakistan will be achieved..
*also the fact that all these aircrafts will first be made for pakistan only and not any other country would increase the induction rate

guys please address the topic ...

If jf-17 is to be produced in Pak then there should be no problem with Engine repair. Also a double seater enable one pilot to take care of air attack and the co-pilot can take care of ground attack plus increased area of operation plus powerful radar as eyerre has no command center on it so takes time to process and analyze things plus a double seater can take on multi targets easily so why not PAF increase 2-seater orders.

Second thing that I wanted to point out is that is PAF a defensive force. As far as I remember the doctrine of Pak army is to surprise the enemy and take as much of their territory as soon as possible where as the large order of single seaters seems to suggest that the main role of PAF is denial of air space something similar to PLAAF.
Please put some light on this.

U little Indians u r basically depressed by the vvvvvvvv superb performance by ur LCA . I just 2 say that ANTIbody gives my answer and i want 2 say and clear u without any source that there will be 100++(130) single seat JF-17's other than the 10 we have which is comissioned but said as they r goin through trials which is present as wing but we will also have about 50 twin seater trainer as AJT as well as JF-17 converter by at least in not by 2012. and they will be much advance or at least equal 2 LCA in terms of avionics coz we are collabrating with EU - consortiums for that purpose and may have sensors like RBE-2 /CAESA-R and OSF-PIRATE lincesed produced in PAK. and other vvv potent navigation and communication system with best counter measure systems. coz tis year i have read in wikipedia that in 2008 they r doing 15 jets not 8 or 10 and they will satrt production of about 25 in 2009 and then from2010 theyr goin to do 30-35 jets per year i think u indians are good at maths and can do calculations if not sent it to corrupt DRDO's or ADA's to do it:chilli::rofl::rofl::rofl::pakistan::china:

my god this thread seriously looks like something from bharat rakshak guys chill...and nishan relax u r trying to ignite a flame that i think we just tried to supress....ok can someone tell me what is the diffrence between MIG21 BISON and F7PG.... major diffrences please...

Well making an old thread Live

Pakistan AirForce in 2010 (now).
~14 JF-17 ...... 25 more Expected in Dec 2010
~43 F16 AB
~12 F16 CD ..... 6 more Expected in Dec 2010
~80 Mirage Rose I/II/II (Mirage III/V)
~50 Mirage III
~20 Mirage V
~60 F7PG
~100 F-7
~40 A5
_________
Total Combat AC's till 31st Dec 2010 : ~450
_________

Pakistan AirForce in early quarter of 2012 (after 1 year n 3 months on my observations).

50 JF-17 Block I (Ground Role)
~20 JF-17 Block I (Multi-Role)
~ 61 F-16 Block 52 or MLU (Multi Role).... may be 18 more come in 2011
~ 80 Mirage ROSE
~ 50 Mirage III/V
~ 80 F-7
~ 60 F-7PG
____________
Total Combat AC's in 1st Quarter of 2012 : ~400

I think there would be no big number gap but the quality will be imporved as A5 will be grounded and may be few F7's n MirageIII's.

If SD-10 will be integrated with Griffo then I must say that PAF would have 350+ BVR capable AC's in 2012

I think you have to correct number about F-16. It's 46 F-16 A/B + 12F-16 C/D =58F-16 of different block right now.

I want some confirmation about f-16's present in PAF inventory.

I wrote this sign -- >"~" Which means approximately.

total PAF fleet of all types = 625 aircraft, helos, transport, trainers etc
front-line fleet = 420 aircraft or 23 squadrons and the official budget is for 20 squadrons. subtract the A5s from this number as they r being replaced and we come to 20 squadrons which is the PAF budget number.

i will leave it at that

.
in near fututer from 2011 to 2020 paf will be like this
jf-17 250
j-10 36
f16 c/d 18
f16am/bm 46
f7pg 52 til 2020
mirage rose 54 til 2020
saab 2000 04
zdk03 04
c130 30
cn235 04
il78 04
and after 2020 pakistan might go for more j10 upto 150 and some jxx let say 50 to replace mirages and older f16 by 2025

if 20 front line is official the the future is like this

JF-17 = 250 in two block
FC-20 150
F-16 = ~60
--------
total = =360 except F-7

if F-7 include then its around ~510
